HOLY HE*L! They've started off with a bang with this one! Valentina has such a traumatic home life. Lucky for her, by seeking out Adrian he's got a completely different idea as to how her life should be lived. The chemistry between these two is explosive and together they perfectly fit. Their journey is tragic and dark, beautiful and emotional, there's not much you won't feel in this book. LOVE this story! Kindle Sinfully dark and delightfully intense this juicy and enticing read was pure temptation and utterly delectable! This story and the characters are complex, compelling and have a wicked sharp edge. I loved this book but freely admit it will not be for every reader. This is a dark romance and as such, it does contain content that will be too much for some readers and could be triggers for others. So be aware before deciding to jump in. Valentina and Adrian make an impossible to resist couple. They fit so perfectly together and boy, oh boy do they take your heart on one leave you breathless thrill ride. The scorching heat and fiery sparks these two generate is accented by a surprising underlying, sultry sweetness that tempers their attraction and blossoming relationship into something truly beautiful and I found myself deeply moved by this couple and feeling fiercely invested in them. The book and storyline are well crafted and I felt they grabbed and kept my attention quite effortlessly. A potent and addictive combination of raw emotions, grittiness, heat, danger, tension, drama and intensity had me eagerly and anxiously turning those pages until the ending hit like a bombshell. I need the next book ASAP!!! This is my forthright, volitional review. Kindle Raw, gritty, and at times terrifying yet also compassionate, caring, and tender are all words to describe moments in time in this book. This deliciously dark tale of two characters who come together wanting different results.

Adrian is a monster according to so many characters in this story and I truly believe of this side of him will appear in the next book. It has snuck up occasionally but I feel the true wrath of his anger will come out and be felt soon. I was amazed by his care and concern for Valentina, his gentleness and patience as well.

Valentina has so much strength it amazed me, her endurance level is sky high and the things she’d suffered was incredible. Growing up, after the loss of her mother, neglect and what bordered on extreme abuse caused her to seek help from another monster. Her lack trust in so many others, understandable too, isn’t something she could snap her fingers and make disappear. But learning to trust Adrian, while still being cautious, became the new life for her. What I liked the most about Valentina was she still stood up for her beliefs or the facts as she saw them.

These two characters were zapping with physical chemistry from the moment they met and certainly had no issues with their passion once Valentina overcame her hurdles. The two compliment each other so well and it sure showed Adrian’s character from a completely different point of view.

There were lots of twists and turns in this fast paced story, some obvious things but it’s those that are the worry! The ending was fantastic as it truly made me want to know what was in the next book, I need to know what happens between these two characters and have lots of possible scenarios in my mind. Kindle WOW! Valentina and Adrian's story was dark, triggering, twisted, moving, gripping, and completely worth forgetting about adulting for a while. If there was a way to give this book than 5 stars, I would do so in a heart beat. Adrian is obsessed with Val however Val has a past that both her and Adrian need to worth through. I truly did not want to book to end because I really want to know what happens next; that ending was a don't stop now! moment for me! I would highly recommend this book and these two awesome authors.

I’m not always a fan of a cliff hanger because I forget to go back for the other books. BUT I follow this publisher because I love the books that much. Val is an amazing character that will have you cheering for her and wanting to punch someone with her. Drama and love! Can wait for the next book! Kindle

I loved this book so much. Adrian and Valentina have off the charts chemistry. Book does end with a cliffhanger. No spoilers. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. First time reading these authors and won’t be the last.
