The

The Little Lost Shopping Cart is the story of Shoppy, a happy shopping cart that has been separated from his shopping cart family and taken by a local homeless man named Scruffy. Shoppy is gifted with a short term ability to talk and roll on his own, and the book follows him on his journey home to the supermarket.

I am always on the lookout for new childrens books for my daughter, and really enjoyed reading The Little Lost Shopping Cart. The book is very unique in a number of ways. A smiling shopping cart that can talk and roll on his own? Does it get any cuter than that? But beyond the adorable main character, the book does a great job introducing the ever relevant topic of homelessness in an age appropriate manner. My daughter is a little young for grasping this concept, so I look forward to continuing to read this book to her as she gets older. For now, she likes to say shop! and point at Shoppy's silly red nose. The Little Lost Shopping Cart is a great childrens book, and one that I would highly recommend to parents looking for a new book for their kids.
