Darkness he can't forget. Light he’s afraid to remember. Magic that could change everything.
Exiled dragon prince Alexander never recovered from the murder of his mate Maiara, an indigenous healer he met over three centuries ago. Every waking breath is a painful reminder of what he lost, his grief compounded by the constant presence of her immortal red-tailed hawk, bound to him since her death.
When three of his siblings arrive with news that he may be in grave danger, he secretly welcomes the possibility of a violent end to his torment. But as the four reminisce about how they came to know Maiara in the New World, they begin to see her life and death from a new perspective.
For the first time, the source of Maiara’s power is revealed and inspires a new but precarious hope. There may be a way for Alexander to be with her again, but his second chance for a happily ever after is risky at best, and at worst, could cost him the only thing he has left. The Dragon of Sedona (The Treasure of Paragon, #4)
Another winner!
If you haven't read the books in this series The Treasure of Paragon you are missing out on a well written and compelling set of stories. This one, The Dragon of Sedona, adds two more characters, and fleshed out a couple more, in the ongoing plot. I've so enjoyed each book, and this one sets up the next one perfectly. At its heart, each book is a love story, but also an exciting adventure. Yes, there are dragons, witches, fairies, plus more and Genevieve Jack includes mere mortals too. Spend time with her books, you'll find you can't wait for the next one. Genevieve Jack Reaching across time
Once again, this author has overwhelmed me with her ability to create a world and characters to get lost in. I love how the siblings reconnect and how hope is born from anguish. The author was able to keep the intensity from the previous books going and led us on the path of an epic love story that eventually leads to a HEA I will be sure to read again and again.
Genevieve Jack Rating: 4.5/5.0
The magic and suspense will keep the reader turning the pages until the very end. This series is a must read!

Genevieve Jack The Dragon of Sedona by Genevieve Jack is book four in her The Treasure of Paragon Series. While the book could be read as a stand-alone, I recommend to read the books in order.
The previous books are The Dragon of New Orleans; Windy City Dragon and Manhattan Dragon.
This is Maiara and Alexander's story.
Maiara is a mysterious woman, native and full of secrets. Alexander lost her a long time ago and he and his hawk are travelling the world. He was cursed to avoid his siblings at all costs. But much has changed, and he has no clue. When Gabriel and Raven show up he's in for the surprise of his very long life.
The Dragon of Sedona is a slow burn, excellent written and beautifully thought out and beautifully told. I loved the storyline, the characters and I can't wait to get my hands on the enxt book in the series. Genevieve Jack Check out this review and others at

The Dragon of Sedona (The Treasure of Paragon #4) by Genevieve Jack
I received this book from the author.
GAH I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! I will say this series does need to be read in order because otherwise I don’t know you will get the true feel of what is happening. You definitely won’t get the pure joy out of reading these characters and this family if not.
Alexander lost the love of his life. He has tried every way possible to die but dragons just won’t die and his hawk won’t allow him to die either. When Gabriel finds his brother and lets him know all his siblings are mated and that things are definitely NOT what they thought when they left their home world, Alexander is unsure about everything. How can all this be and why would it be this way.
Maiara story is how the Prologue starts out and we see her being chased but a wendigo. She is a very mysterious women with interesting abilities and gifts. When she dies Alexander is lost and doesn’t want to continue life without her. The possibility of having her back is something he wants to complete his life. He is lost without her and seeing his siblings all happy is killing him.
Seeing the story of the siblings find their mates and the story of their mother’s betrayal to them is continued ark of the series. I love seeing them all meet up and reacquaint themselves and their mates to the old and new worlds. I have to say Gabriel and Raven are my favorite couple but maybe that is because of the fact they are the first story???

3 1/2 Blast from the past. Stars!
Best one so far! On to the next book. Happy reading. Genevieve Jack I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this one. Genevieve Jack has done a fabulous job in this fourth book in her paranormal dragon shifter series. The main characters' past history cleverly weaves together with present day drama to create a genuine love story that abides across the ages - but Jack certainly puts them through the wringer before they get their hard-earned HEA! Genevieve Jack 4.5/5
Mon avis en français
My English review
I really like this series and I was really looking forward to this fourth volume featuring Maiara and Alexander.
Alexander has lost his desire for life since his girlfriend was killed more than three hundred years ago. Since then, he has been trying to die, but it is not that easy: the young woman’s immortal falcon prevents him every time. So when Rowan, Tobias and Gabriel, along with Nick and Raven, find him and tell him the truth about his mother, he finally sees a way to die. But Rowan is determined to save his brother, so she asks him to tell her Maiara’s story and his. A story that could well change his life… After all, why not bring Maiara back from the dead?
On top of all this, Aborella is determined to find the heirs and send them back to Paragon. Including Raven and her baby. Determined to manipulate Avery to find her sister, things aren’t going to be that simple.
It was a great volume once again and this terrible ending makes you want to know more! I wonder how our heroes are going to cope with everything that happens to them! Genevieve Jack The treasures of Paragon have brought back my joy. It’s been months since I’ve picked up a book or been interested in reading anything, but I missed reading so much. I finally decided to give reading a chance, after all this time in quarantine, so I picked this one up and enjoyed every moment. The suspense and heartbreak. The bonds between mates and siblings...I missed these dragons so much. Their adventures to reunite with one another and the dangers they still face from their homeland has breathed life back into my love of reading.
I love this series more and more with each new release and I knew that Alexander’s love story was going to be epic. His second chance was no less than beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. Genevieve Jack Narrated by David Brenin shares Maiara and Alexander’s romance. The story begins life times ago with a prologue. Maiara and her father are being chased by a wendigo. Then bounces around from 1699 to 2018. When we meet Alexander, he is a recluse artist who still mourns his mate and wants to end his life. His only companion is his mate’s bird.
I loved their story from her roots to how they met and were separated. I immediately felt Alexander’s pain as the author tugged at my heartstrings.
When the siblings arrive on the scene, they are unwelcome, and we get some history there too. Alexander is crushed to learn his siblings are mated. He reluctantly listens, but it is Gabriel’s mate, the witch who reaches him when she thinks she can bring Maiara back.
The story is told through various points of view and multiple timelines. We learn more about how the siblings arrived on Earth and established themselves. It was fascinating and my heart bleed for Alexander and Maiara. Their romance was not without struggles and I rooted for them.
As trouble finds them, the threats continue. The storyline is tight and well executed. Each story brings depth and a deeper understanding of Paragon and this family. We get updates and interact with the other couples, making it essential that you listen to this series in the order of its release. Matings and the overall story arc will be spoiled otherwise.
All the audiobooks have different narrators and this story is narrated by David Brenin. He captured Alexander and his emotions wonderfully. He did an equally good job with the other characters, both male and female. His tone, pacing and inflections made listening a pleasure.
Fans of dragons, siblings and fated mates will want to devour this series. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer Genevieve Jack
