Son solo fotos y concept art. No hay nada de texto que enriquezca el compendio. Visualmente es una gozada verlo, pero se ha quedado un tanto pobre el volumen. Titan Comics Fabulous. I would have appreciated more text, though... Titan Comics Watching the Mandalorian was a bit of a mixed bag, but I was immediately taken in by the visuals, and told my brother I wanted the art book for my birthday. He delivered, but the book did not. It's a thin, hastily put together collection of some scenes from the first four episodes of the show, and some art that was either inspired by or inspired them - no context is given. And the quality is such that it's not even always clear whether a given image is a still or a drawing. There's very little new here.
I think I was hoping for something more like this: The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, or at least what it LOOKS like it's GOING to be, since there's no preview yet. [E]xclusive concept art, character and costume sketches, and vehicle and creature designs indeed.
Luckily M. doesn't read my Goodreads reviews, but the thought is appreciated nonetheless. Titan Comics Supposed to be a collector's edition of the art for this.instead its a sloppily put together book of bad scans of either art or screenshots. Theyre so bad you cant tell. Titan Comics I pre-ordered this months ago and was really looking forward to it, but I’m underwhelmed by the final product.
This a ~very~ slim book collecting stills and concept art from the first few eps of THE MANDALORIAN. The art they showcase at the end of each episode is one of my favorite things about the show and I was hoping for a deeper dive into it here, but this is less of a dive and more like stepping into a puddle.
All this book provides are images with no commentary; it can even be difficult to tell what’s a still and what’s concept art because of the image quality. And for some reason they only showcase half of the first season in this volume—but it’s not like this is overstuffed. It’s got the dimensions of a Dr. Seuss book.
Hoping for a book that does the art for THE MANDALORIAN justice... but this ain’t it. Titan Comics

Star Wars: The MandalorianThe Art and the Imagery Collector's Edition Volume One
This volume doesn't offer much. With no descriptions of the images and a decent number of screencaps from the show, it's a very quick flip through offering little substance. It's not the right size/shape to act as a coffee table type book. If you are interested in the art of the Mandalorian, I'd just wait until the Art of book comes out. Titan Comics Very disappointed. It is a collection of art with attribution to artists arranged by general themes. This looks like they had stuff they wanted in The Art of... and could not fit. No descriptions or titles for pieces. Waste of time and money. If pictures were not Star Wars quality this would be a 1 star. Titan Comics The title is true: this book has art (wonderful paintings throughout) and imagery (several still shots from the series). Not many words (like the Mandalorian or The Child themselves, I suppose)though... I would've liked more captions or insights from the artists. Titan Comics This was NOT what I was expecting. The Art and the Imagery Collector's Edition is misleading...especially if you've read other The Art of... books by Disney, which are really good. A better title would've been A Few Good Pictures from The Mandalorian. But, hey...Baby Yoda! So three stars. Titan Comics only dropping a star because I don't think the book is big enough. Would have preferred if it had some information about each piece of art in the book but the images are amazing Titan Comics
