Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep By Leslie Goldman

Rainbow Fish and his school friends have been warned never to leave the safety of their Shipwrecked playground. But fish will be fish, and one day at lunchtime, Rainbow Fish and friends decide to explore new waters. Before he can swim very far, Rainbow Fish finds out why little fish are told never to swim into the dangerous deep! Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep
Old Nemo the turtle visits Rainbow Fish's class to share stories about his exciting adventures. After he is gone, Rainbow Fish and his classmates decide to sneak off in search of their own adventure. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep I remember reading the previous books from this author and they were more fun to read and far more interesting. This book made me tired after reading the first couple of pages. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep good but doesn't have the ring of the old author. My son liked it but wasn't drooling over it either. Review Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep
Rainbow Fish and his friends learn that sneaking off at recess, and trying to have adventures in the deep, is not something that they should be doing.
A good cautionary tale. Little ones will especially like the pictures.
Read again on May 17, 2014. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep I think this was an excellent book! I will definitely be having this book in my classroom library collection! It is very nostalgic and most kids will have heard of this series. The students will find it to be entertaining and they will be able to learn lots. This particular book, will be a great book to read to reinforce doing what you are told and obeying adults in your care. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep We picked this book from our local library.
I remember reading my first Rainbow Fish book growing up. So I figured this book would be just as good, it was decent but I would have liked more adventure with them. Rainbow fish and his friends listen to an explorer and decide to go on an explorer adventure themselves. They really do not go very far, and didn't really explore like I would have thought they would. Hence why this book is being give 4 stars.
K's favorite part was when they saw the shadow! You have to read to find out what shadow that is though. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep Why is it that so many beginning readers are so mass-produced and rather dumb? I give this one 1 3/4 stars. 1 1/4 because there are dumber books out there, plus 1/2 is because the original rainbow fish book was decent. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep This is a good children's book teaching kids about the safety of staying close to adults and not walking off. The text font is good for younger children. I like that it is based on the popular children's book Rainbow Fish. Rainbow Fish: The Dangerous Deep
