I need these kind of stories once in awhile and I know Sean Michael never disappoints me Sean Michael The book it started in the middle of a punishment, the book is one long sex scene, with 6 different sized plugs, because apparently his Dom has one BIG ASS anaconda between the legs! They have been together for a year, but never had sexual intercourse..*eye roll*...! And I keep think maybe I get the reason for it the more I read, BUT NOOOOO i'm not so lucky!!
Sean Michael Pretty awesomely filthy actually. This story is one intense BDSM scene and what I know about the BDSM scene is only what I've read, so that's not saying much.
I did actually understand the loving relationship aspect of the pairing more so than in most other books of this genre I've read. I think it was because they did show genuine emotion to each other and it didn't seem so scripted as they broke character to take care of each other beyond just the scene.
So, it really is a sweet love story, just pornier ;). Sean Michael 2.5 stars

I'm really not sure why I am so eager to read anything by Sean Michael, but alas, I cannot seem to resist. This one seemed promising, but I was, once again, a bit disappointed with the same old, same old.
Blake and Archer have been together for over a year. They are lovers, friends, sub and dom. But, apparently, Archer has never actually penetrated Blake in all this time. I loved that they seemed to have a nice long buld up to their relationship before it went to the next level. Come to think of it, I actually really liked the storyline here. Archer does drag it out far too long before it actually happens, making Blake take punishments and plugs of various sizes before he actually gives Blake what he needs/wants.
However, what drove me nuts, was the constant little boy endearments and monosyllabic dialog that seems to have become the staple for bdsm stories. Perhaps it is just wishful thinking on my part, or perhaps I just need to concede that this is just how things are. Either way, I will not give up hope and continue with the next installment. Sean Michael Not a typical Sean Michael story. Yes the sex is there and that is about all that is.
First it is written in first person from the subs point of view. Why?
Then you find yourself asking 'why' all the time. Why don't I know what is going on in the Dom's mind? Why does it start out with a punishment and you don't know the reason? Especially, why wait one year and be living together without actual intercourse? Anticipation I get but one year, are you kidding me?!!
Sean Michael This is a fun little story, almost pure erotica, with plenty of sexual tension, teasing with plugs of various sizes, and explosive action once Blake and Archer get down to the main event. One that Blake has waited for over a year to happen. Taking anticipation to a whole new level, this way of celebrating the final consummation of their relationship fits well with how this particular Master and sub run their lives.

Blake is bursting with anticipation for his Master, after a year of waiting, today was the day when he was going to seal the deal so to speak! Only that would be too easy… and we have a whole novella to fill with tantalising teasing of the BDSM kind!
Blake has been with his Master Archer for a year now training to be the perfect sub, and in the eyes Archer he is, only yet again Blake is being punished for doing something wrong and he can only see it as failing his Master which compounds his frustration and threatens the scene. Archer becomes concerned as to why Blake would think himself any less than perfect and blames his own inadequacies as a Master for not praising enough and using a scene as punishment when it should really be called a side trip where they can prolong the anticipation of the final act... and Oh boy, those six plugs are one slow agonising, frustratingly erotic BDSM long tease!
This is what it is… a PWP. But we do also see the loving side of a D/s relationship as it is based on trust and their love for each other is undeniable. I enjoyed my little kink fix!
