After hearing alot of praise for his work I decided to give him a try. Bought 3 of his books from sang e meel's ongoing sale.
One of them was karwaan siraye.
This was my first experience with mustansar hussain tarar. This book is a collection of his columns. I think the theme of this book is death. I loved his writing style. He has the capability to keep the reader interested till the end. This book is great overall but I liked the first column the most, Qabristan miyani sahab main eid ki subha. Some of them were so skilfully written that I nearly cried reading them. I felt a strange feeling of sadness and anger although there was nothing wrong in my daily life and no such thing happened which could have possibly made me sad or angry. Such was his writing's effect on me. The only thing which annoyed me was the font of the book which made it difficult for me to read it but still I manged to finish this in 2 days only (I'm not flaunting about my reading speed instead I'm praising the writer here) Lastly I would say that he has made me a fan of his work and I will surely read more of his books InshaAllah. 9693501063
