No More Texas Beer Fest?

Posted on 07 September 2012 by Admin - Mike Cortez

The sad news broke this morning. With a press release from Texas Beer Fest co-creator Jake Lewis, they announced they would be taking a hiatus in 2013. For how long we don’t know but we can only hope that they take the year off and come back in 2014 with one of the biggest craft beer festivals to hit Texas.

Good morning everyone,

Thank you all so very much for your support of the Texas Beer Festival. We could not have put forward such a craft-centric event these last two years without you.  Unfortunately, we will be going on hiatus as of 2013. Clif is looking to do some international travel, and I cannot finance and run the event from this far out of state.  I hope that we will be able to pick it up again sometime in the future, but in the meantime we are simply grateful for being part of such a fantastic community of craft beer drinkers.

Please keep in touch.

Viva la Craft Beer Revolution!

Cheers,

Jake Lewis
Texas Beer Festival

We wish Jake and Clif all the best in their future endeavors and we raise a glass to their hard work for putting on two amazing festivals. Many cheers to you guys and we wish Clif safe travels.
