I honestly don't know why i keep reading these books. I guess it's because I'm hopping this useless boys change but they just keep on disappointing. I'm so pissed at them and the fact that they keep being around the girls. Orion is the only exception i love him so much. This is just arrrgh I mean it was expected that Tory and Darius are Elysian mates. It’s only natural but also why give them their moment now when a sister of a vampire just got released and she’s angry. I mean it was obvious you know. She got left to the shadows.. it’s obvious she would be angry. I felt for Darius, because I get where he comes from, I get his “reasoning” for all the crap he did, but I need this man to grovel and work harder to get this love and this happiness he craves so much.The girls are awesome, honestly. I can relate a little bit with Darcy and her gentle ways, but Tory has been growing on me. They are like perfect opposites, while still being so freaking similar. Tory is the strength, the fight and the fire, while being the one that craves love the most (I dare say the softest). While Darcy is gentleness and her own kind of calm and sweetness, but still, I think she would be the last one standing tall if it came to it, holding everybody.I’m excited for what is coming, wishing for them moments like the snowball fight scene. I live for ever scrap of attention you offer me and suffer through every moment you spend ignoring me.Premetto che sono ancora profondamente turbata dal finale di questo libro ma posso affermare a mani basse che tra tutti e 4 al momento è quello che mi ha emozionata di più.Non mi voglio dilungare troppo nell'analisi dei personaggi perché ne ho parlato ampiamente nelle recensioni precedenti.Abbiamo sicuramente due protagoniste più consapevoli, sia dei loro poteri che di quello che potrebbe significare per Solaria il loro reclamare il trono.Tory in questo libro mi ha esasperata. Avrei voluto schiaffeggiarla più volte e la totale mancanza di dialogo tra lei e Darius mi ha fatta completamente uscire di testa.Darcy resta ad oggi la mia preferita tra le due. Mi ha distrutta il modo in cui ha dovuto accettare i ricatti di un personaggio per proteggere la persona che ama.Geraldine si conferma essere il personaggio rivelazione dell'anno. La adoro. Amo la sua forza, i suoi poteri e la sua schiettezza. Ma amo anche la sua lealtà sincera e incondizionata.Ma quello che più mi ha colpito in questo volume sono i sentimenti. No force in Solaria will rip us apart.Nonostante i sentimenti siano intensi non si perde minimamente la trama principale e la componente fantasy. Il worldbuilding è sempre più interessante, le gemelle ormai conoscono il loro ordine d'appartenenza e testano sempre più i loro poteri. La lotta contro i nymph e contro Lionel prosegue la sua narrazione ma scopriamo tantissimo anche sul passato dei genitori delle gemelle, il re e la regina di Solaria.I personaggi che più mi hanno devastata in questo volume sono stati Tory e Darius. Li ho odiati separatamente ma al contempo amati insieme. Le scene più belle di tutto il libro riguardano loro due.Mi aspettavo il colpo di scena finale? Si dal primo libro. Mi aspettavo la scelta di Tory? Si dal primo libro. La condivido? No ma la comprendo e le autrici sono state dannatamente brave nel saper far soffrire il lettore in un particolare momento ma anche nel far arrivare le motivazioni dietro a tale scelta che ti portano inevitabilmente a giustificarla.E niente, il mai una gioia è dietro l'angolo e ho quasi paura del 5 volume dopo questo finale.Ho amato sto libro e continuerò a suggerire questa saga Zodiac Academy 4: Shadow Princess (English Edition) eBook : Peckham, Caroline, Valenti, Susanne First time reading these authors and I'm not disappointed. If you start reading this series be aware you will not be able to stop. Just finished book 4 and before going to bed ( 2am) i had to start book 5 to stop my mind spiralling about what if? and what has ?. Great characters and world building. On book 5 and not a inch of boredom as the story has so much twisting ang turning with character highs and lows. a real emotional rollercoaster. love love love these books. There are secrets and mystery. I liked Xavier’s character too. I liked Orion’s and Tory bond. The ending of this book was so unexpected and raw.
