Not the best read ever. Pretty much all pictures in this guide use the same settings with the same advice. There are better alternatives out there.

Hi there,After reading a lot of books review; I eventually bought and read the following book:Your Child in Pictures Paperback – 7 Jan 2014 by Me Ra KohNice book for parents who want to improve their children photos. The book is not very big but includes enough real examples to give you things to work on and improve. A typical example would be how to take a good photo of your child first steps. For advanced or serious photographers the technical contents might be a little too limited or over simplified. But for your usual parents with a basic understanding of photography and cameras this is an excellent book to read as it explains how to make the most of camera to take great pictures of your kids (include camera recommend settings plus how to setup and frame the shot). The author's view on taking pictures of your kids is very interesting (don't ask for smiles take photo important moments) and definitely worth reading whether you are an amateur or just dabbling in photo. My only wish would be examples and technical details (I am serious amateur photographer) and less selling or reference to the training the author is plugging in here and there. Not that helpful to me but have given it to my daughter in law. No feedback from her yet. Livro obrigatório na estante de qualquer fotógrafo de família ou pais que amam fotografia! Just what I needed!Great reference to guide for the following year of my boy now that he is 1 yr and wanna capture his moments.
