Herriot and his fellow characters are like old friends. Mass Market Paperback I absolutely love his writing! He takes you with him describing the sights and sounds of Darrowby and surrounding area. The wonderful characters you meet while out on farm calls with Mr Hatrriot. The animal characters we are introduced to are phenomenal, how can you go wrong with stories like that! If you LOVE animals, as I do, you'll love this authors books no matter which one you pick up. Wonderful books, I never get tired of reading them. Great holiday read. Have been waiting for them to be available on Kindle. Brilliant. Mass Market Paperback very good pleased ( i will not write words that I do not want to write even to make it 17 words) Mass Market Paperback The first time I read his books I didn’t have a pet but my kids adopted a couple cats shortly afterwards. The first two times I read him were in paperback, which I still have and this last time was on my iPad with my Kindle app. I loved it just as much this last time. I wish I could have met him. Mass Market Paperback Brilliantly written about real animals and hard working country vets. The authors vast experience and dedication to animal and their owners is revealed with honest good humour.
