a fantastic trilogy of books from what i have heard, I have read most of the first book and i found myself eventually putting it down at around 2:30am! A great read. Definitely in the hard sci fi camp. An absolute essential for any serious sci fi fan. Amazing how a book can be so inspiring and bleak at the same time. Will be interesting to see how far into the story the Netflix series will take this. A very minor criticism in that it did possibly feel a little slow and dry at first but the later books seemed to change tone. In the end I couldn’t put it down and ended up racing through to the end. Not sure what it was about it though, but afterwards plunging into a typical space opera series just didn’t feel right. Not sure what I’ll read next. Might need to read some Stephen Baxter again! Além deste aspecto, questões éticas são colocadas, com uma visão realista do que somos e de como somos. Eu recomendaria para quem não gosta de ficção científica também, pela série de assuntos tratados.
