With Pace’s passing last year, fans will have every reason to cherish this heartwarming story. This tender romance is a splendid reminder of the author’s compelling way with words and as such, it’s deserving of a Top Pick (RT Book Reviews, 4 1/2 stars TOP PICK!). Romance I met DeWanna Pace several years ago at a book signing in Amarillo, Texas with Jodi Thomas, Linda Broday, and Phyllis Miranda. That was an honor for me, my first time to meet real authors. I just finished this wonderful book by DeWanna Pace, it was truly an inspirational story. Courage to face the unknown and the will to overcome ones fears is a true gift in life. Love comes in all forms and is never predicted as we perceive it to be. When the love of your life falls into your path, grab them and hang on for the adventure. May we all have faith in our future, dreams, and in love as DeWanna did in her books. Romance good story, was sad to learn at end of book that the author had died Romance I met DeWanna Pace several years ago at a book signing in Amarillo, Texas with Jodi Thomas, Linda Broday, and Phyllis Miranda. Romance I liked this book, but I didn't like the writer's style. I'm tired of the typical clumsy female, the clichés that make it feel the author is trying too hard, everybody keeping secrets from those they care about. It was a sweet book and I liked the hero, Gage. Best of all, I liked the cover picture of him! Romance
RANGER FOR HIRE
Willow McMurtry's writing career could end before it even begins -- unless she learns the ways of a Texas Ranger. She can't write tales about Ranger life if she's constantly making mistakes, so she needs handsome Texan Gage Newcomb to teach her. Willow just can't tell him the true purpose behind her request.
Gage agrees to teach Willow how to shoot, ride and lasso -- but only to keep her close. An outlaw who's cost him dearly is still on the loose. And the hidden lawman trusts no one, especially not a feisty woman who might be working with his foe. But as the cowboy lessons progress, Willow may convince him to share all of his secrets -- and his heart -- with her. The Texas Rangers Secret
