Complicated is the word that would best sum up this offering.

Three narrative theads intertwine, eventually come together and then in a disappointing second half, get confused.

A PR Man in modern day edinburgh has a show at the Fringe to promote.... a customer at the show is providing documentary evidence to an unknown recorder (police) on what actually happened at the show and 19th century medical staff and showmen attempt to capture the soul and bring people back to life.

There is excellent attention to detail of edinburgh and its less savory residents and the author knows his stuff and captures it well.
