I am so anti novella stories that go on and on. Why in heavens name do authors think this is a great idea English
The police bring the news that Philip’s car went off the road and he had a bad accident. He died in surgery. Christine spends a few days sedated and in a sort of trance, attending the funeral while not feeling part of it. She also believed Philip had visited her the night before, so can’t really be dead.
After the funeral her friends remind her of everything that happened the night Philip failed to come home. They talk about how things do not add up. The night Philip disappeared there were no skid marks on the road, and no car off the road, yet the following day the police say Philip went off the road and died due to the accident. The hospitals say there were no accident victims that night. There are other facts that make no sense too and Christine decides to investigate. The Missing Husband 2 (The Missing Husband #2)
