The Lunatic Son: Tom Grey’s Schooldays, a tale of the former Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire

Set in 1969 this book gives a great insight into the thoughts and feelings of 18 year old Tom Grey on the brink of manhood, and like many teenagers he is finding the relationship with his parents both infuriating and strained at times.
This is a great coming of age tale and really nailed the era at a time when everything in life seems possible to do and achieve.
