Really enjoyed this emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun and action packed adventure filled with magical, exciting and engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and exciting passion. Was a thrilling journey from beginning to end and so hard to put down, looking forward to more from this series. The Lost Fae Princess: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (The Lost Heir Trilogy Book 1) I liked the darkness of the story because it gave the author so many things to include in the story. The characters were well crafted - she knew her future was bleak but still strived for more rather than becoming a victim. The villains were memorable because of their evilness. He was awesome as he became embroiled in her life. Great storytelling. Great characters. Loved it.

The Lost Fae Princess by K.N. Lee is the first book in The Lost Heir series. I enjoyed this read. It reminds me of the LOTR style saga with dragons and wolves thrown in the mix. I felt this book was more of a prequel. It gives a mixed background intro to the characters, sets the plot line and preps you for the next book. A great quick read that sucks you in before you know it!

„The Lost Fae Princess“ is the first installment in “The Lost Heir Trilogy” by K.N. Lee and follows the fate of Elle, an 18-year-old a half-blood, who is the incarnation of the old prophecy that foresaw a serpent/human hybrid to be the catalyst that break the curse that rendered dragon women barren for over hundred years. But Elle is also a warden at the Crystal Keep Academy for Girl and oblivious to her own destiny and abilities. Her only wish is to escape the academy and her future as servant to be sold to whom pays the most. Finally, her pleas are answered in an unusual way as Alexi appears before her in his wolf form. Alexi is in fact the heir of the Great Wolf Clan, and an ally in her quest from freedom.
K.N. Lee has done once again what she best does: construct a rich and epic world populated with unusual magical beings invested in a fight against oppression that bring all characters through a quest through the realms that mirrors their own path of self-discovery. The world-building is exquisite, the characters unusual and relatable at the same time, the story satisfying and convincing. A very good start into this brand-new series. The Lost Fae Princess: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (The Lost Heir Trilogy Book 1) Seemed More Like a Prequel
While this book is the first of a trilogy, it felt more like a prequel to me. I allow a little more latitude for prequels; they can take place at any point in the past before the main body of the book, and there may not be much to the plot, though a lot of world-building and character set-up typically happen. That's what this book felt more like to me, not a proper book one of the full series—as if the author were setting up the world and characters. The plot feels thin, as the storyline seems to be about the heroine learning more about herself, her world, and the men who will become an important part of her life. It's unclear in this book whether the author is going for a reverse harem in this series or not. As such, it made the heroine’s seeming lust for any man she was with at the moment a little off-putting and appeared like it was setting up the potential for cheating, which I'm never a fan of. I felt like I kept waiting for something big to happen, or some real climax to be built up to. But that didn't happen. The author also wrote In a somewhat choppy style, often writing just short phrases instead of complete sentences, and sometimes one of these phrases was the only one in a paragraph. I do find that hard to read page after page. All in all, I find myself disappointed in the book.
My book blog: https://www.readingfanaticreviews.com The Lost Fae Princess: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (The Lost Heir Trilogy Book 1) Caught up in a world of danger where magical beings are sacrificed and humans are cursed to be barren, Elle is a sort of hybrid, different from others. She has Fae magic that she doesn’t always know how to use, and an immunity to the curse. So her value to the world is as an object to be sold to the highest bidder.
A white wolf, Alexi, the heir of the Castilan Kingdom, arrives to claim her as his future Queen. Alexi and the Davidian Clan swear to protect her, but she ends up captured by the dragon king. Where will her loyalty rest? Who will win her heart? There are still those hunting her for their own reasons. If Elle makes the right choices, can she stop a war between the shifters and the Fae?
The Lost Fae Princess: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (The Lost Heir Trilogy Book 1) Entertaining story with unique elements. Good world building too, but this book just felt too much like a setup book; I thought there would be more action and adventure. I like that the story deals with the Fae, and dragon and wolf shifters. The story starts with Elle being locked in some monastery with some other girls who are fertile; there’s a curse that has affected fertility rates, the girls are sold off as broodmares. The monastery is not a good place. There is a lost heir that is supposed to be able to break the curse; that is supposedly Elle, so she has multiple factions after her for their own purposes; some want to marry her, some want to protect her, and some want to sacrifice her, so Elle isn’t sure who she can trust.
I didn’t like how back and forth Elle is on the romantic front. She feels an instant connection with multiple guys; whichever one she’s with at the time is the one she’s all hot for, and she doesn’t ask questions; she just trusts whatever she’s told. It feels like the author may be leaning towards a reverse harem type scenario; which I like but don’t love, so I’m not sure I want to continue this series if I’m basing it on the romance. This book is just Elle getting into romantic entanglements, finding out about herself, and meeting and learning about the different factions. I wanted to see more of Elle’s individual strength rather than her being rescued; she does have some good sass though. Overall, the story has the capacity to build into something really interesting as the series progresses, but I would’ve just liked a bit more growth in this book; still an entertaining premise though. I’ll go with a 4 rating since the series could have potential, but on its own it’s closer to a 3 rating. The Lost Fae Princess: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (The Lost Heir Trilogy Book 1) AN AVALANCHE OF ADVENTURES!!!
Outstanding! Lee not only hit the motherload, she does it with all the passion, finesse and unique insight, revving up the intensity and adrenaline, blowing this baby wide open, riding the wind and watching it blow, wrapping this gem up sleek, shiny and tight. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are amplified and exploited, kicking this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a tailspin with an intoxicating culmination. One action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping thrill, blasting this baby to life flawlessly. Anarchy runs rampant and havoc is rife, rolling out the drama, turmoil, intrigue, abduction, danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a double dose of mysteries while dodging destruction, you have one intoxicating adventure. Woven, banded and tightly coiled, displaying the soaring ups and agonizing downs, breathtaking in it's simplicity and impressive in it's depth, putting our characters through their paces, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. Displaying the formidable trials and challenging tribulations, noting the deadly twists and sharp turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. The characters are complex and genuine with traits and qualities that add depth and diversity, transforming into charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions that feel as though you were transported to ground zero with them.
