I’d been meaning to read Roshani Chokshi’s work for quite some time, and when I heard about The Gilded Wolves, I immediately knew I wanted it to be my introduction to her stories. I’m a big fan of historical fantasy, especially stories set in real places but crafted very : The Gilded Wolves: A Novel eBook : Chokshi, Roshani: Kindle Store Gilded Wolves is a Historical Fantasy set in 1880s France at the L’Eden Hotel, which is owned by the main character, Severin. However, heists? Check. Found family? Check. Icing on the biggest slice of cake ever? I’m a history geek. So yeah. Double check. What I didn’t know : The Gilded Wolves: A Novel eBook : Chokshi, Roshani: Kindle Store I will say, this book was pretty dark for a YA book, of course I really don't care (I don't think it would've bothered me when I was 14 either), but it seems to be of note. It’s like Six of Crows meets Atlantis: The Lost Empire meets Indiana Jones and if that doesn’t appeal to you, then I don’t know what would. The cast of characters were so diverse and I loved each and every single one of them!
