This will forever be a staple in my library. This is a common sense boon on living life to the fullest. It reminds us that living healthy is a state of mind & if done right is not hard. I would definitely recommend going through the book. Not only for diet but for life in general. Loved it. I know the title says French but some part just felt like the Arthur was trying to force but has good points and worth every penny. The French Diet: French Secrets to Weight Loss, Health, and Happiness I love books where American authors tell American readers how to be French/Danish/etc. It's a great way to look at American culture. Some of them are really well-written and very insightful, while some, sadly, are not. This particular book mainly made me think of the value of not-so-perfect native-speaker writing for teaching Advanced English as it is very different from not-so-perfect non-native-speaker writing and, while we should all be striving towards the more perfect, learning from the bad is not such a terrible idea, really.
