Amazingly enough, Mr Cornwell's Saxon Tales continue to entertain me in this (maybe 8th?) volume. The elements that appeal to readers in the earlier volumes continue present action (and often violence), strategy, betrayal, authentic history, sex, dashes of humor, and a Kindle, Hardcover, Paperback This is one of my all time favorite series, and I devour each addition as soon as I can get my hands on it, even though I usually hate violence, explicit sex, and crude language, all of which occur regularly in this book. The first thing to attract me to the series was Kindle, Hardcover, Paperback A Viking and Saxon Addiction that just won’t quit! There is so many details to this series to explain and talk about so I just took notes to reflect back on. A new approach to starting out this installment.
