The Diary of Nalie: A collection of life lessons and reflections shared while thriving through stage IV cancer

I just received my copy this morning and read for the first of what will be many times in under an hour! Here is the message I sent Nalie after reading the book, it resumes the impact of her words, of her life, of her book:
“Hi Nalie, you do not know me but I am a fellow thriver. I have been following you since my diagnosis three years ago and reading every word you write, watching every video. Your words have gotten me through many of my own ups and downs! An hour ago, an delivery guy rang the doorbell and I excitedly opened the door knowing I would finally hold your dream, your book in my hands. I immediately started reading it and an hour later, I have read every word for the first of what will be many times. I have cried, felt joy, anger, hope, despair, but mostly hope and gratitude. I now feel less alone, I feel seen, I feel normal and I know with even certainty that I have everything within me to weather this storm. Thank you ✨
Oh yes, and when I picked up my phone to write you this message I saw 12:12, and as chills ran through my body I felt the confirmation, the little wink from the universe that your words were exactly what I needed today and that I should keep this little book close by to reread when I lose my way!! ✨”
No matter what you are going through this book will help you through it. And if you know anyone going through cancer treatments, this would make the perfect gift!! World war ii I do not have cancer and I felt like this book spoke to me. Nalie is absolutely brilliant and she is an incredible writer. This journal is raw and authentic with so many incredible life lessons that would definitely make you do a double take on how to perceive things in life and how to handle it with grace. Thank you Nalie for sharing your gift with us. World war ii A truly inspiring book that will give you perspective in life. I'm so grateful that the author, Nalie, was so courageous enough to share her story in hopes that it would help us in our personal struggles. I know it helped me.
It's poetic, yet down to earth. A true gift.

I highly recommend. You will be inspired! World war ii Would it be weird to say that it has everything do with cancer but nothing to do with cancer at the same time?! No matter who you are and what you may be going through, the shoe fits. It's funny because here I was thinking of grabbing a marker and highlighting the passages that spoke to me so much but quickly realized I'd be highlighting the entire book! Starting the new year I had been struggling with many personal challenges which lead me to be completely off work for some time. Having to learn to rest and listen to my body has been a challenge on it's own and very difficult to say the least. No matter how much my physician and therapist ordered me to rest, Nalie's chapter 5 The Undoing hit right home and I'm finally ready to listen, and chapter 12 The Unlearning was very necessary (I even folded the corner of page 117 so I can read it again and again as a reminder whenever needed). Having all this free time this summer, I thought to myself it's a great time to catch up on some reading but oddly enough I haven't been able to get myself to open a single book yet somehow I was excited to open Nalie's as soon as I got it and funnily enough, finished reading it in one sitting!!! So to my fellow non readers, believe meit's such quick and easy read yet so fulfilling, you won't regret it. I refuse to believe that there is not a single person that hasn't been faced with life challenges, some kind of trauma or problems, a story of pain of some kind and growth in their lives. Not to say that some pain is greater than anyone else's, but sometimes we just need a bit of perspective to recognize our own privileges and revisit gratitude. Her diary might just give you that, let alone give you so much reassurance that you didn't even know you needed perhaps. To be completely honest, I grabbed the book literally to just show support and encouragement but Nalie, truly, thank you for this gift (your diary of words), it's just what I needed without ever knowing I needed it. Keep thriving! Fufu 🤎💪🏾 World war ii I couldn’t put her diary down. Nalie will walk you through her journey and inspire you to keep moving forward in the midst of your battles. She tells it like it is in a way that gives her readers a sense of hope in a world filled with uncertainty. This is one of my favorite reads! World war ii

Beautifully written, poetic and uniquely formatted in such an artistic way that you feel the author’s emotional point of view as you turn each page. I couldn’t put this book down! Nalie is refreshingly candid about her feelings. We can all relate to the dichotomy of emotions she describes in her diary. How she chooses to push through adversity and view life is truly inspiring. We can all learn from her reflections. I have! I recommend this book to everyone (not only cancer thrivers). You will feel empowered, self confident and see the world through a positive lens. This book is a gift that you will open again and again! World war ii Nalie is the bravest human being I have ever encountered.
Her honestly and strength is overwhelming. She writes with a pure, open, endearing positive attitude.
She is very brave to let us into her life and the experiences of her health challenges.
The book is a whirlwind of emotions.
I couldn't put it down; I read it in one sitting with tears streaming down my face.
In the unique layout of her book, which is such an eye pleaser, she reminds me to pull up my socks, hold my head high, and keep going.
If Nalie can go through all this and still stay positive; I have nothing to complain about, and there is nothing I can't handle.
Nalie, is are an amazing, lovely person.
She will change the lives of everyone who reads her book.
I know I will never be the same.
Thank you Nalie
God Bless You
Love Wendy
💕💕 World war ii This is not simply a book to read; it's a precious meditative piece that engages one’s heart, mind, and spirit in this journey we call life. Nalie poured out all her being and doing as she faced the big C head on, facing it one day at a time and one step each way to healing with grace, joy, and love of life. The Diary of Nalie was poetically penned, and succeeded in graphically conveying her struggles, pain, doubts, and the profound insights, lessons, and wisdom she gathered on her healing journey, leaving the readers awe inspired and with a much better appreciation of their own life journey. After reading (or meditatively reflecting), one can't help but conclude that Nalie has been shaped and polished to brilliance by life's crises and storms. World war ii I got your book yesterday and I just finished it, what a masterpiece. This is my second review because you deserve it. I was diving in your words and you inspired me in every word you where saying. You are such an inspiration to me. while going threw rough time in my health. I can’t wait for the next chapter!!! I loved it and now will pass it to my daughter to read it ❤️ World war ii I couldn't put this book down after the first chapter, but I wanted to really connect to it and make it my routine to read a chapter or 2 every morning with my matcha. :) I love how it felt like you were talking to the Author face to face like she is telling you the story herself. This book gave me goosebumps, made me cry, and made me smile. What a beautiful book and most importantly a beautiful soul. Anyone that reads this book will change how you look at adversity, it will definitely change your life. I highly recommend it to anyone and to give to someone as a gift. This book itself is truly a GIFT from the UNIVERSE. Thank you for sharing 3 World war ii
