The simple descriptions of VE and the differences between Platonic, Aristotelian and 20th Century approaches is helpful. The chapters looking at Medieval and Chinese versions are good too. I particularly enjoyed the study of Hume on Virtue and links to Virtue in Kant surprised me as I was always taught to see Kant as a polar opposite. Really good.
