Tangled Hearts By Catherine Vale

Summary Tangled Hearts

Tangled

I did give a few of these stories 4 stars in their individual reviews, but some were not even stories, just sex thrown together by a few sentences. Overall 3.5 stars. A very mixed bag that I'm sure you can find something you will enjoy, but not all are worth the reading time. Nook Not bad

Some of the stories where very good. Some where just so so.
But over all entertaining. As for the few m/m scenes they fit the story line. Nook 3 1/2 Stars

There were some stories I liked better than others (like Tabitha Conall's contribution), but I liked the whole book pretty well. I will say there were some stories that needed more editing, for sure. But when you have strong story lines, like most of the stories in this book, a little issue here and there with editing can be overlooked. Nook I have no idea how this came into my Kindle haha but it's not my cuppa Nook Taking Heat by Emma Young - mff, female female action, first person narration, contemporary

This was my least favorite, mainly because I couldn't quite follow the back story. However, it was smoking hot. The female female action had me literally panting. XD

The Wolves Next Door by Catherine Vale - werewolf H, destined mates, mfm, abused h, contemporary

This story was also pretty hot. I loved the way the heroes talked her into being with them. Very cute.

The Alpha's Secret by Tabitha Conall - mfm, male male action, werewolf H, destined mates, contemporary

I loved the idea of the males turning bisexual, what an interesting plot point! I thought the heroine's fear was a bit silly, however, but the thing that saved it in the end is that this is a short story and therefore she got over herself pretty quickly. In a long novel I'm afraid this would have turned into a massively long hair-pulling story. I also seem to recall I've already read something along these lines before, maybe it's a series... worth looking into.

A Ghostly Menage by Eve Langlais - mfm, werewolf H, destined mates, contemporary, tortured H

What a cute story. I love Eve Langlais' stories.

Seducing the Sergeant by Mina Carter - mfm, male male action, alien H human h, scifi, cyborg

This was a hot story and great to see a strong female character. Would love to read more about this universe.

All the Way by Giselle Renarde - mfm, male male action, contemporary, non-white H

This story had me laughing and feeling all warm and fuzzy inside and at the same time disappointed and confused me. Half the time I was able to identify with the couple, as my hubby and I are somewhat similar, but then the rest of the time I was just... confused.

Her Two Bosses by Rachel Chase - mfm, contemporary, rich H poor h

You know, this story was hot, but did we ever really find out why the Hs had to do the corporate take-over thing? I also think I've read it before, but it was worth a reread.

What Happens in Vegas by Terry Towers - mfm, contemporary, tortured H

Interesting, but a bit too much flip-flopping in my opinion. Pick one and stick to your choice, don't lead them both on... lol. These Hs were much more forgiving than I expected, seeing their history. She did make the right choice in the end IMO, and the story was still enjoyable.

Inescapable by Saskia Walker - mfm, contemporary

I loved this one very very much. I got a very realistic insight into the emotional turmoil of the characters, I loved the fact that we got an H with a... I guess, disability, who was realistic about his limitations and not ridiculously touchy about it, and the turmoil of the other H with his emotional hangups... Absolutely great. The only downside was the action-movie-esque part, but I guess we had to see some action excitement somewhere... Nook

Seducing the Sergeant by Mina Carter

All the Way by Giselle Renarde

Her Two Bosses by Rachel Chase

But when there's a break-in at her boutique and the sexy-as-sin Porter men are sent to her rescue, it becomes clear that fate has other ideas.

Inescapable by Saskia Walker
A witness protection safe house. A steamy ménage. As danger closes in Seth and Adrian must learn to share and protect the woman they love. Tangled Hearts

Overall a great collection of stories they were hot and steamy and the stories overall were very good my only complaint is that half the time I wanted more after the endings! Nook Really good and hot anthology. There were definitely ones I like better than others, and I liked the last 2 stories best. Nook Great set!

Totally worth while reading! I enjoyed the majority of stories so much, I have signed up for their newsletters. The idea of triads is not generally thought of as acceptable, but these writers made love between most of them believable and cheer worthy. Bravo to this boxed set! Nook

Finally the end of my ménage journey… kkk..

Not surprisingly ... Eve Langlais’ story : Ghostely Ménage was the best. It burned my world and my undies ... kkk ... but I have to mention Saskia Walker too... cause her Inescapable …OMG….it was a very, very good plot. 10 wet panties for each one…kkkk…

These two authors made the book worth my time & money. Super Hyper Ultra recommend these 2 for those who really want a delightful reading.

The first story was so silly ...dã, dã...sorry, Catherine Vale...it didn't work for me at all... May I ask you where's the excitement or the 'good' lust? I couldn't find it

The second story was not really good neither... but at least there was a good strong and powerful heroin... She's fucking badass...

and the guys ...omg... I just love the rigid stance of the military ... kkkk

About 3rd plot? I'm really loving Terry Towers' story ...the weird situation is so funny...p..in pants..oh, boy...unfortunately, this kind of hot things never happens to me...sniff, sniff...

I was so excited when I began the fourth story, however, suddenly

... oops ... tilt the machine?!? ... where's the middle or the rest of the story? what's the author's point? Oh, man ... not even the hot scenes saved my disappointment

Nook CATHERINE VALE - THE WOLVES NEXT DOOR
Likeable characters and just a plain good read featuring a jealous other woman and stalker nightmare ex-boyfriend.
Julie found out her boyfriend was into horrible criminal activities and is now hiding from him.
She ends up living in the house between Caine and Ryan.
Finding out she has two hot neighbours is enough to make her sorry she has sworn off men.
Ryan and Caine know Julie is their mate and have to work to slowly gain her trust.
Love the decisive action taken by the alpha against Julie.
Would have liked a definitive ending for the rotten ex.
MINA CARTER - SEDUCING THE SARGEANT
Love this story. I have owned this book for years and it was lovely to reread it in this box set.
An interesting and different take on shifters that I really enjoyed.
Having genetically engineered weredogs was exciting.
Loved the characters were good, the story flowed well and had lots of action to keep it interesting so it was not all just about sex.
Partners Camden and Rennick are combat weredogs. They have a great relationship and protect each other during battle. They were lovely and I really enjoyed how their relationship expanded to bring Wynter in.
Combat Sergeant Wynter Ferris has also been genetically improved as well. She has a distinguished service record and is hiding something. Wynter is as hard as nails and as tough as she is it was lovely to see a softer side once she let the boys into her heart.
The twist at the end was so good, didn’t see that coming.
Would enjoy having more stories involving the others we met in their troop.
TERRY TOWERS - WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS
Sibling rivalry at its best.
An okay story that I have read ages ago but it obviously didn’t stick in my mind.
Not a true ménage but more of a love triangle until Genevieve makes her decision about which brother she wants half way through the book. But then tangled emotions and nasty ex wife cause havoc.
The twin brothers thing was interesting and the ending was different.
Didn’t really care for Dane that much and wasn’t backing him. Too much of a hypocrite and a player.
Graham was nicer but still had married his brother’s ex-girlfriend. Big no no.
The background history between these two brothers was sad and funny at the same time. Dane cannot commit to a woman and this has caused a problem with his relationship to his brother Graham. Graham cannot seem to find a woman on his own that is not a cast off from Dane.
Wonder if Dane ever gets his own story?
Re read in the TANGLED HEARTS box set.
RACHEL CHASE - FRINGE BENEFITS’ or HER TWO BOSSES.
Seems to have two different titles.
An interesting story that I have read ages ago but it obviously didn’t stick in my mind. Probably due to the fact there is no real background as to why Cort and Vance are doing what they are doing and who killed Sylvia?
How can you make a murder a big part of the story and not give the reader a detailed ending?
TABITHA CONALL - THE ALPHA'S SECRET
I have read this before and enjoyed reading it again. Like this author but have not read this series yet but will be doing so soon.
Private detectives Liam and Gavin head to Marysburg and the Stonewall pack to let their clients know they have a step sister named Fiona. Once there they meet their mate Bridget, one of the sisters but things don't go well as Bridget doesn't want any mates. Something happened in her past that has made her afraid of being owned. Even though she is going through the mating heat, she keeps resisting their advances. Can they get to the bottom of what is holding Bridget back from accepting her two mates.
EMMA YOUNG - TAKING HEAT
Read this before but it is not my thing. Not into married couples and cheating even if the other partner agrees.
GISELLE RENARDE - ALL THE WAY
Not into married couple taking on someone else for ménage.
EVE LANGLAIS - A GHOSTLY MÉNAGE
I have owned this book for years and it was lovely to reread it in this box set. I had forgotten how much of a quick, fun and enjoyable read it was.
This book has an interesting storyline and well paced plot. I have read a fair amount of Eve's books and tend to enjoy them.
Derrick and Mark are two hot alpha males who have been cursed.
They are cocky and arrogant and used to getting anything they want but when they refuse to do what an equally arrogant witch wants, they get cursed. With no way to break the curse, they are doomed to a long lonely ghostly imprisonment in their own home. Every year Clarissa comes back and makes them the same offer and every year they decline.
Being twins they are alike but have different personalities and in other ways so similar. Both are caring, fierce, protective and at times calm and quiet. Derrick’s is more pushy in nature too Mark’s shier one.
When Jenna buys the house and moves in they realise she is their mate and attempt to contact her by any means they can.
Jenna has had enough of being lied to and cheated on. Finding her boyfriend has slept with both of her ex-best friends she buys a house in a small town to get away and lick her wounds.
Not believing in ghosts she is sure surprised when mark and Derrick make themselves know to her.
Loved the ending

Loved the ending, my only gripe was the nasty witch Clarissa got hers to easily, would have liked her to suffer a bit more.
SASKIA WALKER - INESCAPABLE
An okay story that I have read ages ago but it obviously didn’t stick in my mind.
Liked the characters and the plot just didn’t have enough meat on its bones to make it a keeper. Nook
