Tall and Small Tales By June Foray

Long considered the best voice actress working in animation, June Foray brings her interpretive narration to this collection of five children's stories. In Timothy in Mother Goose Land, a young boy curls up with a Mother Goose book on a rainy day. Suddenly he is transported into the stories to meet his favorite nursery rhyme characters -- and the dreary day becomes one of his best days ever. In another magical tale Junior travels to the moon to find out why the Man-in-the-Moon's face is smudged with dirt. He meets lovable Witch Chucklechin, who helps him learn to respect others regardless of the way they look. Fergus, the Fly by Night Flea is a buddy story about a flea with high-society aspirations (he's looking for a French poodle to befriend) and a junkyard ssdog named Xavier who knows the blessings of a simple life. In a story set in Ireland, young Sean wishes he could find a leprechaun with a stash of gold to help his father keep the family farm. In T-Bone Turtle, a myopic turtle gets tangled up with his new pair of glasses, but his friends Porcupine and Doc Owl help him out. Tall and Small Tales
