Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) By Julie K. Cohen

This is the second book in this sci-fi series and it can be read as a stand-alone. Melina is a doctor who is going to be spending the rest of her life on a prison planet. When she ends up in trouble four men come to her rescue that will claim her as theirs. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and great world building draw you into this entertaining and hot read. I liked it. Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) I absolutely love this sci-fi reverse harem book!! Omgg! The story, the steam, the characters, the scenes, everything♡

The characters form a relationship; they start trusting and caring and learn how to share and express their feelings. Melina's determination and dedication towards finding the cure and helping others, Reece's love, Zev's mystery, Ivan's change of heart & Jayce's mouth that somehow says the wrong words but feels the right way, all makes this book entertaining and attention grabbing.
The book ends on a satisfied note but with a cliffhanger.

*Slight instances of abuse are mentioned*

While I didn't like Jayce initially, by the end I understood him and adored him. The others are also so amazing and ofcourse I like them all, but it was love at first sight with Reece♡♡

The last chapter is my favourite! Definitely gonna reading the sequel!! Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) This book is wonderfully written and it flows beautifully, making it easy to read.  It's the story about Melina and her savers ( Reece/Crusher, Ivan, Zev, Jayce) in her fight to stay alive on the planet. It holds you from the beginning and only lets you go at the end. Great characters, terrible situations, barbarian men and living conditions, corrupt officials, lies and much more. There are steaming hot scenes like you wouldn't believe. Who would have thought that an author could make such circumstances bearable for the right people? Although it is not necessary, I would recommend reading the two previous books, then you will understand the story better. I was hooked on the first two books in this series and it was so nice to hear that Melina got her own book !! Melina was the doctor who saved Hanna. Hanna's story can be read in the first two books, Protected by the Convicts and Auctioned to the Convicts.
This is a series that you absolutely must read. You will not be disappointed.

Veenith, level 5 convicts- killers and rapists.

This was really full of suspension and nerve wrecking moments. I honestly felt h was sometimes TSTL. Why on earth you wanna leave a place where you could be safe? But after learning a bit of her background, I started to understand her pov on this.

But still... I mean few hundred men and only you. What do you think will happen when you try to get out. I would be scared shitless and just literally would have stayed in one place.

Her 4 men were interesting and that's mildly put. One, who hates her and wants to kill her, one who has lost his morals in years of serving on that planet, one who's sweet but mute and one enigma, who keeps distance.

So interesting to see what the heck will happen. Ends with a cliffhanger. Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) A fantastic reverse harem prison story with a partial reveal ending, the story concludes in the next book and I cannot wait to find out what happens. The characters are interesting, diverse very well developed and have strong ever progressing chemistry, the storyline was engaging from start to finish and the concept brilliant. Filled with action, mystery, intrigue, slowly revealed character personalities and backgrounds, burgeoning love and sexy scenes.

They all want her. Only four will succeed.

They say being convicted to the prison planet of Veenith is a life sentence.
Melina Archer would argue that point.

Granted, she’s stuck there for the rest of her life,
With hundreds of rapists and murderers.
But her ex can’t touch her there.

The only ones who will be touching her
Are the four prisoners who’ve taken her.

The soldier who wants revenge against her,
The mute bodyguard who kills with no remorse,
The con man who sees her as the ultimate deal to line his pockets,
And the man who holds almost as many secrets as the prison planet.

She doesn’t know these men, but she needs them.
And they need her, more than they realize.

Ours to Take. Ours to Love.
Taken by the Convicts is a steamy reverse harem romance set on a prison planet where women are scarce and love scarcer. Melina’s story concludes with Rescued by the Convicts. Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4)

Wow! This was a different kind of book. I have read reverse harem book before but not in this type of environment. It starts with a female doctor on an all-male prison planet treating a man with a rash. It goes from there where she is attacked by another man and the man, she is treating saves her. She takes the blame and is thrown in the pit. In the end she is rescued from the pit by 4 men who become her unit. They all had different reasons for helping her, one hated her for something she had done. One just wanted a woman, one loved her and the last was just on board for the road. They are locked in a bunker trying to keep her safe from the bad guys on the planet. She finally gets them to let her go back to the medical center and things are okay for a bit then it all goes to blazes. All the men love her by this time and there is still a mystery to solve. I am looking forward to the next book. The narrator did a good job with the entire story and kept me engaged.

Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) Taken by the Convicts: Sci Fi Reverse Harem Romance (Prison World Book 3) by Julie K. Cohen is an amazing story to read. This is book three out of four in this amazing series and I can not wait to read the rest cause I am that hooked. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harems, fantasy, dark and erotic romance.

Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for this book ever since I found out the author was continuing the series! I feel in love with the first two in this series and was so excited to hear Melina, the doctor who saved Hannah, was getting her own book!! And this author so did NOT disappoint.

It was amazingly written like the pervious two. Flows wonderfully causing it to be a fast read. Sucks you in from page one and doesn’t let go until the very end. Wonderful characters, awful situations and living conditions, barbaric men, corrupt officials, servers and lies, and so much more. And steamy scenes like you wouldn’t believe. Who would have thought an author could make such conditions still bearable with the right people.

I would recommend reading the two previous books, although it isn’t necessary. You just have a better understanding of everything if you do. This is an absolute must read series. It will open your eyes and give you something you didn’t know you were missing until now. I dare you to give it a go! You won’t be disappointed. Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha males and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining. Taken by the Convicts (Prison World, #4) This is a variation of a dark prison romance set on a mining planet where all the workers ( and almost all people there) are prisoners. In order to protect herself, Melina needs to have a unit of men to help her. She finds four men and through several harrowing incidents, all of these diverse characters form a family. Great story and characters. I can not wait for the second part of the story.

This is an honest review of an ARC.
