Take Me Forever (Cockpit, #5) By C. Lesbirel
Another amazing story by this fantastic duo. C. Lesbirel and Britney Bell nailed this story from beginning to end. The Parker siblings are back and better than ever!!
This is Jason and Ivy's story. This is the perfect romcom full of sweet incredible but also very entertaining moments. The chemistry of these two from the very beginning is perfection.
When Ivy finds herself in a not so ideal situation Jason is there to save the day. The sexy pilot mets his match with the baking teacher who mades him feel things he hasn't ever felt before.
But not everything is a smooth fly. There is some turbulence in their relationship and Jason has to decide what's most important in his life.
This is a standalone romance but I do recommend reading the whole series because each of the Parker siblings have pretty extraordinary journeys finding the love of their lives. C. Lesbirel Okay, so Ivy is officially my favorite of this series. She doesn’t let Jaxon’s behavior slide, nor does she hold a wicked grudge when he lays his fears and feelings for her out all over the table. Jaxon’s parents are a little less than likable at first, but I think that they needed to see a few things. They needed to see Jaxon as his own man with his own interests, and they desperately needed to start to see Shiloh for all that she’s promising to be. So when Shiloh finds out why Jaxon disappeared on her, she’s all over bringing people together to support him and Ivy. It helps that Ivy wins people over with all that is her, so in the end it’s a case of two dreams coming true. And one of those dreams wasn’t even seriously thought about until Jaxon met Ivy.
While I’ve enjoyed this series, this book knocked it out of the park. Jaxon was a nervous wreck at times, but so was Ivy. The beautiful part is that they weren’t both wrecks at the same time, so they supported each other exactly how it was needed every time. And if Jaxon stumbled a couple of times, he did his best to right the wrongs, while Ivy did her best to understand that he was just as new to this maybe-relationship stuff as she was. Now I can’t wait to see Shiloh finally get her time to shine. I’ve been waiting for a while and I have a feeling when her story comes, it’ll shock everyone to see how great she can truly be! C. Lesbirel I expected Jaxon to be more billionaire bachelor Playboy. I was completely wrong. Who knew he loves to bake? He is put in as interm CEO but it's not what he truly wants to do. He signs up for a baking class where is meets Ivy. I think its love at first sight.
Ivy wants to have her own cooking classes to prove she can instead of climbing the corporate ladder like her parents want. She's in her element when she is in tge kitchen. She loves it. It's her passion. I think she falls a little for Jaxon but is staying focused on her plan. An amazing opportunity to compete on a cooking show is dropped in her lap, thanks to her sister, but she needs a partner. Obviously it'll be Jaxon who she asks.
If I had the time, I would have devoured this book in a day. They are amazing together. Jaxon is totally the heartbreak type of guy. A surprise at the end which I should have expected but totally didn't!
So much love for this book and the series. I never want it to end! C. Lesbirel I absolutely adore this series! I was so excited to be jetting off with the Parkers again and very excited for Jaxon's story it was everything I was hoping for and more!
Ivy has a dream, to share her love of baking with everyone and is looking forward to one day making that dream a reality and opening up her own school. For now though she decides to run some baking classes.
Jaxon's really has no complaints in life, he loves his job, loves his family, loves to party.... but he has a secret the rest of his family don't know about.......he loves to bake and he is currently in the midst of a baking disaster!
When Jaxon stumbles into Ivy's class baking isn't the only thing on their minds!
You just couldn't help but fall in love immediately with both Ivy and Jaxon. I loved them so much and I don't want this series to end!
C. Lesbirel I am so glad a requested an ARC of this book! Now I need to binge read the rest of the series to get caught up with the rest of the siblings. Ivy is trying to start her own cooking school but her parents think it’s just a dream and want her to work for a large corporation. She’s been saving her money and has five jobs in the hopes of saving enough to get started. Her sister secretly enters Ivy in a baking competition where she could potentially win her start up money. The only thing she needs now is a partner. Jaxon sees a flyer for a baking class and immediately decides to go. He has a secret passion for baking and is trying to perfect his pineapple upside down cake. He’s not looking for a relationship as he’s just taken over as CEO of the family business until his father’s health returns. This was entertaining read with a well written storyline. Ivy and Jaxon had a sizzling connection from the moment he entered her class. Even though neither were looking for more, their feeling for each other crept up on them. I enjoyed how Jaxon brought out the fun loving wild side of Ivy and Ivy was the calm in Jaxon’s stressful life within his family’s business. An awesome must read. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. C. Lesbirel
♥♥What happens when you mix a biker pilot and a cupcake goddess?♥♥
Ivy burst into Jaxon’s life like a flour bag erupted in the room. Except, she is the sugary goodness of rainbow sprinkles, salted caramel sauce and exactly the opposite of what he expects. It isn’t the storm she cooks up in the kitchen that he needs to watch out for. It is the one she could create in his life.
Jaxon Parker is a risk taker, and Ivy is allergic to taking risks. Since she almost lost her life at the tender age of sixteen, she’s made being careful a lifestyle choice. But, things change in a heartbeat when she puts on a biker helmet and embarks on the ride of a lifetime with the person she never knew she needed, in more ways than she thought possible.

Ivy and Jaxon's story is filled with sweet deliciousness and steamy naughtiness mixed with dreams, responsibilities and devotion to one's family.
What they both haven't counted on was unexpectedly to fall in love with just the exact opposite of their types. The were supposed to make the right decision of what's important but is it family or theirselve?
I simply love these series and let me tell you this book was probably my favourite that far because, let's be honest who wouldn't fall in love with two sweet bakers, right? And throw a bike and plane into the mix and the story is perfect. I also adored the support and love of both of their families.
So you see, this book was not just adorable, steaming hot and sweet, it was one great mix of all....fabfantastic. C. Lesbirel This has been a series that I am loving! With each book spaced out enough, I look eagerly for the next installment. I have been hooked on this series since the first book, a Christmas novella, was released. And now we’re nearly to the end of the series with only one sibling left to have her story told. While it’s sad that this series is coming to an end, I look forward to having all the books at my disposal for a binge read.
After each book I read, I have a new favorite book boyfriend. In Jaxon and Ivy’s story the authors added something I didn’t expect. I don’t want to give anything away, but I loved this book so much. It is actually adorable. Each book is original with it’s premise, however this story surprised me. Or should I say Jaxon surprised me?
I really don’t want to say too much because the book has such a great pace that it’s easy to read in a few hours or less. I will tell you that I was engaged, entertained, and swooning for the hero. There is so much to love with this series and I highly recommend you read from book one if you can. You definitely don’t have to read the books in order, but your enjoyment will be so much more satisfying if you do.
Both Ivy and Jaxon were lovable characters. Both were complex and developed well throughout the story. There is a lot of fun and humor, as well as a bit of angst. There are interfering family members, loyalty, love and plenty of respect between them all.
I am looking forward to Shiloh’s book next. We were given a teaser at the end that has me so curious about her story. Can’t wait! So glad I discovered this author duo. They are amazing story tellers!
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you so much for taking the time to read it. C. Lesbirel “Take Me Forever”, Book 5 in the Cockpit Series by Clare Lesbirel and Britney Bell was absolutely delightful! Jaxon Parker and Ivy Cortez are the perfect mix and quickly became my favourite. Ivy is the baking Queen with a dream to open her own cooking school one day. And Jaxon is a pilot and happens to be one of the sexy Parker Airlines men. They meet at Ivy’s first “Bake with Ivy” class and the heat in that kitchen could melt butter. This book is fun and full of sweet feels with a dash of spicy on the side.
This Author duo take the cake with another fabulous book. I can’t wait for the next one to release. ~Angie❤️ C. Lesbirel This is book 5 in this series and another amazing read.
Loving that this one takes place in a kitchen... cooking up more than dessert.
Ivy and Jason are gorgeous together.
But does what happens in Vegas always stay in Vegas.
I was totally hooked and think this may have been my favourite!
Must read series
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review C. Lesbirel What a wonderful journey it was with Ivy and Jaxon. Those two were perfect together. They were sexy, they were sweet, they were loveable. I read their story in one day and loved every minute of it. C. Lesbirel
