Sorcerers

Annie Hawthorn's life has been dreadfully normal since she moved into her new college apartment. Well...there is the matter of her best friend, Gates, who's still a cat. Charlie, the demon who cursed her, hasn't been seen since before graduation. Annie isn't sure if that's a gift or a curse in itself, because Charlie is the only one who can help her. But Charlie is about to return. He needs a favor. And this time, he's bringing an old enemy with him. Sorcerers \u0026 Sumac (Hawthorn Witches Book 2)

Annie moved into her new flat with her pet black talking cat, Gates. Why did Charlie disappear when she'd accepted to be his bridge, was he dead or stuck on the other side? Would he cause more havoc if she summoned him again? Annie does everything with the best of intentions but somehow bad things happen. Charlie was making her get things for him like Lyssa's hair, her own blood and much more and he was doing this to turn himself human, so that finally he could die, as immortality had started to wear him down. The first semester in Annie's new college was about to start and her friend Vince was attending but his roommate turned out to be a werewolf, and Charlie knew him right away. Walter turned Vince by biting him and Annie insisted on giving him refuge in her basement but things turned nasty on the full moon. Then Stark turned on the scene and started appearing wherever she was, he was a warlock and a demon and Charlie's bane. Kendra refused to help them out and the only way to get rid of Stark was to kill his bridge. Killing the bridge did not sound so bad after all! I am finding this series rather childish and it seems to have all kinds of things mashed into the one story, making it a bit too much! A.L. Tyler Couldn't put this book down, Annie becomes Charlie's bridge will he turn Gate back human A.L. Tyler Continuing off from the 1st book this one starts off where the 1st ended.
This book like the 1st one wasn’t very long and has a great pace that didn’t leave me bored of reading.
The story was interesting and with more problems added. Bunch of twists and turns makes the reader want to know what would happen next and how they will solve them.
2nd book left off with a cliffhanger that makes you want to dive into the 3rd to see what’s going to happen next!! A.L. Tyler
