An inspiring book with lots of ideas for a variety of garden buildings. The instructions are detailed and clear with plenty of photos. As a beginner, I was looking for a manual that would walk me through the basics with detailed instructions and this book does just that. The book caters to both the beginner and experienced DIY enthusiast with builds varying in complexity, from straightforward projects such as the one we've completed, to ambitious builds. Absolutely on trend, with instructions on how to install solar panels, green roofs and sweet chestnut shakes It's given me lots of ideas for future projects! John Coupe A great step by step book with color photos; however, be aware that this book was written for builders in the UK and their metric planning and building control, not US specifications. John Coupe Present John Coupe It would have been nice to know that this book only contains info about UK regulations. I'd prefer a US specific version that has relevant info to the US. It isn't hard to convert mm to inches, but when it talks about shed height restrictions, regulations on placement, etc, It would be nice to know if any of it pertains to me. John Coupe If you've ever had a Haynes manual you know that they are well thought out and very useful. This shed manual is not really any different but instead of repairing something, you're completely building something new. It's great fun and the pictures are helpful. Dad loves it, he is very excited to build a shed. Hardcover was nice as well, since our experience with Haynes is soft cover, which doesn't always mix well with car fluids. John Coupe
