But because even though they have a lot of similarities, they have so many more differences that really stuck out to me. So instead of breaking them all out, I wanted to include them in one post.

Each story has heartbreak, but each story displays it differently. One is emotional, one is intense, one is electrifying. Each story has a male lead and a female lead but while you are reading these, none of those leads are the same as another. One sister, is not like the other. One male, is definitely not like the other. They're all so different and distinct and I think I loved that the most about these three stories. Yeah, we have three books about three sisters and one summer but wow, who knew how different their journey's could all be.

Jen's book, Teach Me had so much emotion packed into such a short novella. It was poetic and it was melancholy heave for me. Cynthia's book, Hate Me packed so much tension that I could barely stand it any longer. If it was a longer book, I just know I would have combusted internally from all of the emotional and sexual tension. And Christina's book Ruin Me... was electrifying. Christina has some of the most powerful, jarring writing that I have had the pleasure of reading.

I hope you all enjoy the journey these three women took us on. It's quite different than anything else you might ever read from them. But in the best way possible. Indulge. Treat yourself. Explore and love the ride they take you on. Ruin Me Author Christina Hart 🎁 FREE on Amazon today (12/1/2019)! 🎁 Ruin Me Author Christina Hart A Sweet Second Chance

I’ve died a thousand deaths with Joey and here I am, wrists out, begging for him to bind them once more.

Ruin Me is a cute little second chance romance that brings in the angst and the heartbreak of young loves. Dosed in each chapter, we get Kitty’s poetry where she pours out all her emotions.

This book is the first novella in a series of 3 books about the 3 Bordeau sisters. Moving back home to her quiet beachtown, we meet Kitty, the youngest sister, and that fateful encounter that brings her ex-boyfriend, Joey, back into her life. Joey is absolutely swoon worthy, doing everything he can to win his lost love back.

The strengths that these characters had were so strong. They’re so extremely passionate about one another. I loved reading about them reuniting and that touch of heartbreak that gets woven into this story makes it all feel a bit more real.

While this story is pretty fast paced, I did feel the ending was a bit rushed. And I do wish we saw Joey in his MC, in his world from before. However, this story was short and beautiful and definitely one someone should check out if they’re looking for a cute little novella that hurts just a little.
Ruin Me Author Christina Hart Ruin Me is so much more then a novella. It is a beautifully written story and poetry all rolled in to one. This was my first taste of Christina Hart’s writing and will not be my last. She is truly a special talent.

This second chance novella was packed full with so much emotion. I usually find novellas overly rushed (I know they need to be) but this one didn’t feel that way. I still feel like we had enough backstory and understanding that the story flowed perfectly.

Kitty used her heartache and turned it into something beautiful.
She wasn’t sure if she should trust Joey again but he wanted to prove to her that he could be what she wanted and needed, again. Despite what others thought.

I would definitely recommend this story to others, like I said earlier, it was so beautifully written. Ruin Me Author Christina Hart

Eleanor “Kitty” Bordeau, the baby of three sisters, lives by rules of the heart.

Too young to remember their lives before the tragedy, she’s always gotten away with being impulsive and responsibility-free.

And after running away from everything she ever knew, with heartbreak at her heels, passion only existed in the form of poetry.

Now, two years later, she’s back in her hometown, where her muse still haunts her.

But when heartbreak—also known as Joey Madden—catches up to her, Kitty decides to rewrite her story. And this time, she won’t allow his lies to once again ruin both their lives. Ruin Me Author Christina Hart

“The wounds we soak, in salt, they burn just like we want them to. We’re masochists, you know. We take all that hurt and roll it around in sugar until it comes out sweet. We’re sadists, you know, trying to make the pain sound pretty. But the wounds we cloak, in sadness and solace, we never wanted them. We never asked for this.”

Oh how I’ve missed Christina Hart’s words! ❤️ Ruin Me Author Christina Hart A beautiful second-chance romance from one of my favorite authors. The poetry was such an exquisite touch. I loved Kitty's youth and her love for her sisters. Joey was the perfect reformed bad boy.

The youngest Bordeau sister has been plagued by her role and nickname of Baby Bordeau for too long, she's using this summer to face everything she left behind and stand up to her sisters. Christina Hart's Ruin Me follows poetry writer Kitty Bordeau as she faces old love, struggles through heartbreak, and fights against the secrets her sisters have kept in the name of love.

This all feels too familiar. This searching for him. My heart is always searching for him.

A second chance novella in the Summer of Secrets collection, Ruin Me is a fast paced love story set in the heat of summer. With gorgeous, emotional poems kicking off each chapter, Christina Hart takes readers on an angsty journey with 19 year-old Kitty and her ex-beau, Joey. Kitty is such a relatable character, her creativity is her pride and her mental health battle is the driving force. She uses words to battle her demons, especially as her former flame re-enters her life and reignites the flame inside her. It's a summer of push and pull for the young couple, each trying to overcome a past of ugly secrets and lies, each chasing after a love that they don't want to give up.

For a moment we slipped and said what we meant. The truth has a way of escaping the things we say when the earth falls away.

Ruin Me was a solid introduction to the Bordeau sisters, I loved that it started with Kitty and gave us her youthful perspective on the challenges she and her sisters have faced since the loss of their parents. I do wish it had been longer, the close of Kitty's story comes far too quickly and deserved more fanfare. This was my first Christina Hart read and I can already say, after reading Kitty's perspective and the gorgeous poetry, I will be reading more.
The Summer of Secrets collection starts with an angsty bang and I am already turning the pages to start part two, Hate Me.

ARC provided. Ruin Me Author Christina Hart 2,5 🤔😔⭐️s

The poems that appeared in the beginning of the chapters were the only ones that I enjoyed.
A quick read, the heroine’s actions did not match with her age of 19 - I would have expected her to be at least a couple of years older. The character of the hero was not adequately developed, as well as the storyline. Almost every time they met they had sex which became kind of tiring.
I don’t think I will read the stories of the other two sisters.... 😔 Ruin Me Author Christina Hart I love a good two-for-one... poetry and a novel!

Reading a novel written by someone with a poet’s heart is a real treat. You’re not getting a wham bam thank you ma’am love story. You’re being seduced and made love to. That is how I felt reading this novella. It packed quite the emotional punch!

A great second chance story! Ruin Me Author Christina Hart
