I had forgotten the plot of Vol 2, so it was a nice surprise to re-read this.
Just like Vol 1, the book was chock-full of adventures. After finding her identity in Vol 1, Vol 2 had political drama, coup, poisoning, arson, amnesia, exotic prince and… a circus!
