This was a pleasant read. I liked the main characters. I do think all the problems and sinister characters were taken care of rather too neatly. I guess you could say one of them had what was coming to them. Real life often doesn't end up with everything always working out without a struggle. I did like that there was an epilogue, but wished it had been a bit longer with more in depth deatails. Not a cliff hanger ending - so that was good.

Five vehicles is one of the best tine travel romance story's ever.. Jo, git send back in time 1800s.. She meets Sawyer and Kitty, two westerners who believes her story.. This story combines both the past with the present.. There is violence, as dealing with fraud and Indians..No sex, but imagination you could know what happens.. Damm good ending. This book had me drawn into the story from the very beginning to the very last word. In fact, I wasn't finished reading it because even when I got to the end of the book, I wanted to read more. There was action, adventure, a cattle drive and even murder with Jo, Sawyer and Kit. Then when Clay, Rory, Calhoun and Maynard got involved in the story there were plenty of lies, gambling, drinking, more murders and even a suicide happening all because they all wanted the Reed land and would do anything to get it! This is definitely a great book that you'll want to finish in one sitting ~ I did because I just couldn't put it down till I finished it! This is the first book I read from this autor and let me tell you that I loved it! Such a good book with great characters that keeps you obsessed with every page since the first one. Not really an Old Fashion Western as the title suggests, but more of a comparison of then and now. We seldom think of how technology has advanced in 150 years, wjth bathrooms, toilets, running water, sanitation, and on and on the list grows. Interestingly, people are about the same with good guys, bad guys, crooks, liars, friends, and neighbors. In the end what matters is friends and family. Kindle Edition
