I'd say it probably skews towards the younger fans my older son of 10 loves dog man, but very quickly lost interest in cat kid. The younger one (7) loved it and still goes back to it now. He's even taken to drawing the characters and is looking forward to the second book coming out.Having had a quick look through it myself, I'd say from an adult perspective there seemed to be a bit value and story in the dog man books than there appeared to be in this.However, this book and all the dog man's have been greatly helpful in encouraging reading habits in my kids, so for me its 5 stars.
