Had to get this for an adult ed class. Just okay. Be aware that if you get the Kindle version and everyone in class is using a paper version, you're going to be swiping like mad. The content is VERY basic. If you speak some Italian or another romance language, this will Italian Now! Level 1: L#39;italiano d#39;oggi! (Barron#39;s Foreign Language Guides) I am using this book to teach Italian to an adult friend who already has some knowledge of the language. It is a suitable book for a beginner who has an Italian teacher. I don't see this book as suitable for any self taught students. The self taught student would have a Italian Now! Level 1: L#39;italiano d#39;oggi! (Barron#39;s Foreign Language Guides) Good instruction book and fun! Same as the Spanish version. Going to Italy next year, so I think this will help. Italian Now! I needed it for my Italian class. I ended up with two copies one new and one used which I sent to my daughter. We hope to go to Sicily to see our family homes next year, Italian Now! This book is used sometimes in the class, but is also great for independent work. It covers important topics and gives plenty of practice. Very pleased and impressed with the contents. Italian Now! (Barron#39;s Foreign Language Guides) After just having learned Spanish, I developed a rhythm I prefer on how to learn a language and this book, recommended by an Adult Ed course teacher, just doesn't do it for me.
