Hers for the Holidays By Samantha Hunter

The Berringer Bodyguards File #2

Name: Ely Berringer
Trademarks: Clean-cut former marine who's all muscle...and all hotness!
Biggest weakness: This good boy likes a bad, bad girl....

Bodyguard Ely Berringer's job was simple: find the missing woman. But there's nothing simple about smokin'-hot tattoo artist Lydia Hamilton...or the fact that they once shared a wickedly sexy night together. And once he finds her in Montana, he realizes that one night with Lydia was definitely not enough!

Lydia's been trying to sort out the sale of her childhood home and ranch. But lately there's been a rash of nasty incidents--break-ins, damaged property...just enough to convince Ely that he needs to stick around. And if that means some no-strings-attached naughty nights? Well, he's all hers...even if it is only for the holidays! Hers for the Holidays

HERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a thrilling, sensual story. The sensuality plays around the dark edges. It is also intensely emotional. The danger and thrill of the story adds to the page turning quality of the book. Author Samantha Hunter’s Berringer Bodyguard’s turned out to be a thrilling series. Looking forward eagerly for the next book in this series.
9780373797325 Great book i need to check out the other ones in the series 9780373797325 Miniseries: The Berringers 9780373797325 If you like Harlequin books, you'll probably enjoy this one, especially if you like steamy sex scenes. I like a little more meat to my stories, not a lot of back story, which is kind of needed for a short book, like this one is. I liked the characters, just wish there was MORE. 9780373797325

This was really good! It was also hotter than I thought it would be ;) I'm looking forward to more from this author. 9780373797325

Lydia is okay, but trouble is brewing and Ely finds letting go is difficult to do. He knows there is something more than pranks to the damage done to Lydia’s family home, but Lydia is unwilling to admit her greatest shame. Unfortunately, neither is prepared for the storm headed their way.

I loved Hers For the Holiday. It had a beautiful storyline full of suspense and an unsuspected ending. The mystery was expertly hidden and the past is not what it appears. I fell in love with the characters and the sizzling romance between Lydia and Ely is one which should never be missed. I highly recommend Hers for the Holidays and Ms. Hunter.

9780373797325 I mostly always enjoy my Harlequins but this one rocked! 9780373797325 Book 2 in the Berringer Bodyguards series.

Ely is an ex Marine and his sister in law asks for help because her friend Lydia is missing. Ely is a bit hesitant because they had a one night stand but being a good family man goes on a mission and tracks down Lydia. Lydia has returned to her hometown to clear out her Mum's ranch. Her Mum has passed away. Lydia has no plans in staying; she wants to make a quick visit and leave unnoticed.

Ely finds Lydia quite easily but unknowingly walks into a town full of secrets, intrigue and mysterious goings on... ie, who is poisoning the Ranch's cows? Who's breaking into the Ranch? Who stops the water? Ely wont leave until he discovers who is after Lydia and why.

Once Ely and Lydia stop fighting their feeling the pages are on FIRE! Blaze-ing (yes pun intended) with heat!!!

Great story. I didnt pick the suspect, unlike I did straight off in the first story (I only picked the right person in the first story because I work in insurance)...

Totally recommended and I just love the Epilogues because they set the scene for the next book... as soon as I finish writing this I'm starting on His Kind of Trouble... book 3... cant wait!!! 9780373797325 https://celebrityreaders.com/2022/12/...

3.5 stars — A pretty solid Christmas Harlequin Blaze. A little bit of mystery/suspense in it, but didn’t really play strongly into the plot.

I was a little frustrated with Lydia for holding on to those teenage impressions for so long…apparently I’m not in a very understanding mood at the moment. Like, part of me gets the indelible impression it would have made on her at such a time, but part of me was like “oh ffs.” Patience is not my virtue apparently. I appreciated that in some ways she was very bold, but she was hiding a very large wall around her heart.

Ely was solid and steady. Honestly, I felt like his story was pretty flimsy, but I think I forget how these Harlequins go sometimes. I wasn’t a fan of his new “I don’t want a serious relationship” thing, that was DEFINITELY flimsy, and basically only served the purpose of getting them into their no strings fling.

They had some pretty solid chemistry though, and there were some sweet moments with the snowball fight and the tree.

The resolution came SUPER fast in this one, both their relationship resolution, the mystery resolution, and her past resolution. I wouldn’t have minded a bit more nuance.

Can I also say that anyone who complains about Indie authors and their editing have a look at some Harlequins? I’m still annoyed that an editor didn’t catch that it would not be *earlier* in Philly than in Montana… (yes, I do realize I notice the stupidest things…it’s a curse I now share with you) 9780373797325
