This book was perfection. You got the drama, smutt, romance, comedy, and war. This book had it all and it ended in such a way that I am really excited about Newsies book. I know it is going to be hilarious with all my favorite side characters. Jade Presley has officially become one of those authors that I will instabuy. English Just like in Book 1 of The Shattered Isle Series I finished the book in two days!

The main characters are depicted with a love for detail not only Marvel fans will like them!
And I love the strong female lead, Cari, who is so strong and at the same time as vulnerable as many of us.
Not to mention the spicy scenes in this book…

I can‘t wait for the next book! English I absolutely looooved this book. You always worry that the second book in a series won't be as good but this was not the case. I was on the edge of my seat. The ending had me wanting so much in the future! English Her revenge was a great ending to this story. There was something for everyone, war, romance/🔥🔥🔥🔥, humor and REVENGE….. the side characters are very entertaining also. I look forward to Gessi’s story with the entourage the Queen has assigned to her, it should be very entertaining… English

I started skipping the spicy scenes. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! I was so excited to find out what happens in the story that I skipped over spicy scenes. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and it didn’t disappoint. Cari is unstoppable. It feels like there are so many books with the male hero saves the girl. But Cari and even Gessi can save themselves. Their characters aren’t defined by their men and I love that. But the men were as hot as ever.

I mean you can’t tell me that you can read this without swooning?!

While I was able to predict certain situations, this book’s strength is the characters. You can’t help but feel something about them, positive or negative. Again, I do hope there’s a bonus scene at some point of them just hanging out all together. The book felt so GO GO GO, that I missed some quieter times. Their quiet times feel heavy due to the feeling of pending doom.

Over all, definitely recommend!

Also, I am obsessed with Gessi and her assassin men and I can’twait for her book! English I do enjoy this final book with Cari and her mates. Cari did grow lot with herself and with her mates. I feel the story have a few gaps that needs show of her growth and even with Talon and His silly grudges. Lock is still my favorite mate. Sorry not sorry. SO however, there is a little bump at the end of the book. Can’t wait for next series! English I couldn’t wait too read this book because I absolutely missed these characters. Cari, Steel, Tor, Lock and Talon are absolutely amazing together. I can’t get enough of them together. Cari wants on thing and that’s revenge and her Kings will do anything too make that happen. I’m so excited for Gessi’s story and of course her guards. It’s going too be very interesting. Another amazing read that had me hooked. English So a great story. Cari, Lock, Talon, Steel and Tor and just so freaking awesome individually and together. Cari is that take no nonsense female that will stand up for her men and her people. I love that she's ready to bring the fight to her enemies.
This Duology was my first by Jade and I can say she has made a fan outta me.

I got this as an ARC and I was so excited when this popped up on my kindle. Whether you enjoy the marvel universe or not this book is for you. I was so excited that I got this book as an arc reader. This book is just as good, if not better than the first. We start off with 2 steamy scenes (one with Lock and the other with Talon) in the first 4 chapters! The book is full of action and steamy scenes and we meet really interesting new characters. I can’t wait to read about these new characters in the next book, The Assassins! I could never pick a favorite guy but the scene with Lock and Talon is so hot. All the characters are written so well and the love the guys have for Cari is adorable. This is one of my favorite series I’ve read this year and I can’t wait for from her! English
