The first half of this book dragged on and on until about 57% when the action picked up and I couldn't put the book down. I really liked Sebastian and Yelena as a couple as I did all of the couples in the series. Heavy Crown was an unexpected novel for me. In many ways, I didn't really care about Sebastian's novel as, among all the characters in the Brutal Birthright series, I didn't really feel an investment in Sebastian.
