The one thing I didn't like was the song Froggy sang. I know we sang this when I was a child but times have changed and it doesn't seem appropriate anymore.

I used this one along with a non-fiction book about frogs to reinforce the differences between fiction and non-fiction. As other reviewers have mentioned, the full Trick or treat, smell my feet rhyme is included. It's a good reminder that I need to preview these books before I read them to a class. This is a great story with super illustrations 9780142300688 The Froggy series isn't a favorite of mine - especially as a read aloud. However, this might be the best one I've sat down with yet. It's fun and silly - as all of them are - but this one applies more to the kiddos I work with more so than others. It fits the theme and worked nicely for my class! 9780142300688 This story is a little bit on the long side. I will be using it for my school age storytime. You get to use a vampire voice for awhile. That is fun. The story is mainly about figuring out what you want to be for Halloween. 9780142300688
