I was surprised and elated to read about my birth country's dragon, not having any prior knowledge that we even had our own dragon with its own mythology where it would apparently eat the moon. I found the Filipino Dragon quite interesting since it eats the moon.
This dragon is named Bakunawa which means moon-eater!!!
Bakunawa Dragons live in the sea and rise out of the water into the sky to eat the moon; thus causing the eclipses!
