I was afraid of javascript for obvious reasons and hoped the book was easy to read. This one is good. You do not need a special card to access lessons as the lessons come with the book and the instructor typically pays for access and delivers it to the students. I didn't finish to read yet. But i think it's a very good book. You download the scripts then you complete the proposed exercises, I'd buy it agan ! The operators used for JavaScript are too light and you have to really strain to see the code even Online. JavaScript: The Web Warrior Series Contains a lot of examples and explanations, but its not a very good reference at all. I'm sure there are far better JS books out there.
