I don’t usually do it so it was a big risk for me.Luckily I really enjoyed it! Really like the art style, the way the faces are drawn reminded me a bit of The Ancient Magus Bride. Liked the story, contemporary mixed with a dash of wizardry, or maybe telepathy? But this is so different to all the mangas I have been reading recently so it was refreshing. As the main lead Adachi for me is a sweet person to follow, awkward and shy but in his own quiet way he shines through, his inner monologuing had me laughing and just his overall nature made me a fan and willing him on. Kurosawa, our Robin to our Batman! Or maybe it’s the other way round, he seems the older and wiser type, he’s a lot grounded and confident, and is a nice steady reliable rock, although his confidence scared me too! But I think he’s just driven and knows what he wants.Really liked the extra chapters at the end, main story characters and side characters all have me excited for volume 2. That’s the only bad thing about buying it so soon, the wait for the next one! But I’m so glad I did! 978-1646090297 Ooo i defo recommend purchasing this series!!
