Sophomore Winter (Lee Corcoran, #10) By Daring Diane

Daring Diane Å 9 DOWNLOAD

Sophomore Winter, the Tenth book in the Lee Corcoran series, follows Lee Corcoran, who has completed his freshman year in college at the University of Michigan. His life does not follow the typical male athlete path.

While the book is written to allow a reader to enjoy it without all of the history, if you want to understand all the characters and dynamics in their lives, reading the previous nine books is the only way. Long-term threads and relationships tie the books together. These books primarily follow Lee and his best friend Darby, a girl.

As a freshman in high school, Lee became involved in a girls cheerleading program as an advisor and trainer where he was reluctantly introduced to crossdressing. Lee found that he enjoyed the softer side of clothing. As high school progressed, circumstances forced Lee to wear a feminine wardrobe in more and more situations.

One of the key elements of the storyline is that Lee enjoys his dressing while still wanting to hang onto his masculinity. It is an internal struggle which is a constant battle throughout the series. He has no doubts about his heterosexuality and loves the woman in his life.

Spoiler alert [if you have not read the other books]

Throughout high school, Lee dated women, participated in cheerleading, was the starting shortstop on the baseball team for four years, and wore women’s underwear and outer clothes virtually all the time in his senior year. He and his friends accomplished a lot. Lee ended up being the head cheerleader.

Over time, his best friend, Darby, learned of Lee’s preferences for certain feminine attire. Attending a major university, with a scholarship for cheerleading, Lee spends 100% of his time as a female student. An active member of a national sorority, participating in three sports in all three seasons, Lee has taken on responsibility for charity activity on campus and nationally for the National Cheerleading Association.

While Darby and he are a couple, they do not present that way in public on campus. On campus, Lee is living in a girl’s dormitory with other cheerleaders.

The previous book ended after the last regular season football game on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. It is time for Competition Cheerleading to begin as the end of the fall semester approaches. Both Lee and Darby have increasing responsibility at their sorority, school and in extracurricular activities.

Lee worked part of the previous summer as a professional baseball trainer and baseball scout. He plans to continue training players for the Detroit Tigers. The pair have done a lot of modeling and surely there will be more requests for their services.

This story deals with a reluctant [less reluctant by book 10] crossdresser who tries not to sacrifice his manhood while enjoying his unusual choice in clothing.

Crossdressing is dealt with as part of a real life.

Given the ages of the characters, the story does not involve explicit sex.

Young adult readers should be comfortable reading this book.

Sophomore Winter (Lee Corcoran, #10)

Another enchanting story about Lee

The next adventures about Lee and Darcey. Most people see Lee as a traditional Coed and forget that he is really a man. His relationship with Darcy is such that they do there utmost not to be seen as a Lesbian couple. The end of this story leaves many questions unanswered and the one question that has been forgotten is with changes in Society is this not the time to challenge the ball tradition that the nomination for the Queens should be Accompanied by a man. Not every nominee man have a man as a suitor. Looking forward to the next instalment. Kindle Edition Still a lot of fun

Lee is just too good. In this episode he organises a major charity event for the national cheer leading championships. Kindle Edition Well worth waiting for.

If you haven't read the first 10 Lee Corcoran books, you absolutely should read those first. Daring Diane writes wonderful stories, and you don't want to miss any of them.

Lee is now a Sophomore in college, in a sorority, and a successful cheerleader. She takes on a charity volunteer project, and produces amazing results.

Of course, what makes this story even more delightful is that Lee is a boy, and in love with his best friend Darcy. Diane deliberately avoids referring to Lee as transgender. Thus far, Lee has thought of himself as a boy who is comfortable wearing girls clothes.

Lee also plays Baseball in the spring, and coaches other players. There are so many delightful dimensions to Lee and Darcy. You will enjoy every one of Daring Diane's books.

There was a long time between books 9 and 10, but it was well worth the wait, and I'm very much looking forward to the next one. Kindle Edition I have been chomping at the bit for the next book in Daring Diane's Cheerleader series about Lee Corcoran and his girlfriend Darby Connor.

Finally, book 10 in the series has been released and I have enjoyed reading it like the other books.

Whilst still concealing his gender from most of the staff and students at Michigan University; with the exception of the main cheerleading squad, Lee continues with more success in his cheerleading.

Members of his high school squad including Lee and Darby, visit his old school to meet Sylvia's replacement as high school coach. They get an update on how the squad is doing now from Cloe's replacement as squad Captain. Captain Dorrie and three other girls in this high school squad are the last members of Lee's successful competition squad.

He also has greater success with his NCA committee obligations whilst again keeping his gender secret.

Both he and Darby continue to promote Rodino's fashions touring outlets selling the PLD collection.

June continues to demonstrate her American Football abilities whilst also re-joining the cheerleading squad for competition cheerleading.

Lee, Beverley, Ted and Todd join the university Robotics club.

Darby undertakes her duties as pledge chair for the Pi-Omega-Mu sorority.

I hope that the release of Cheerleader 11 doesn't take too long. Kindle Edition I love this series. I love the character development and the way Diane draws you into the story, I almost feel like I am there. Diane is one of my all time favorite authors and I look forward to each and every book. Read the whole series start at the beginning and catch the details. I highly recommend! Kindle Edition
