Carson Crosses Canada By Linda Bailey

We took this on our summer vacation in Canada and our 25 year old loved it We read it so many times she has it memorized We wish there were additions to this book like one about each provence or something Will be buying this for others this coming Christmas for sure Linda Bailey This is the perfect fiction book for teaching students or your child about the providences in Canada Illustrations are colorful and beautiful too Linda Bailey Delightful children's book Nicely illustrated with a simple storyline but a surprise ending Carson is looking for the surprise along the way and he plus the readers are not expecting what it turns out to be Children and adults have fun with this Linda Bailey I bought this book thinking it would help child learn about Canada It is actually about a camping trip for a dog They go through the provinces but the provinces are not mentioned There is an opportunity here for a child to learn about the country but which the content does not support Linda Bailey Really liked this book to read with my grandkids after I took a trip across Canada I was able to show and tell my experience too Linda Bailey

I got excited and hit buy right away when I stumbled upon this book because I would love to get our grandkid interested in the diversity of our nation especially the Island my personal favourite place and the sample pictures are rather pretty But overall the book was disappointing There's not much for plot and the scenery they encounter isn't thrilling either There aren't a lot of little hidden details in the background to keep it interesting on multiple readings the way many kids' books do It was a good idea but not executed well enough Better to just print out a bunch of your old road trip photos and teach the kid about the cool places they can visit someday using your own experiences Linda Bailey Great story We spent so much time on each page talking about provinces and my daughter loves it Linda Bailey Such a cute kids book that goes from coast to coast It’s a staple for every library and classroom Linda Bailey This book is a gift for a 5 year old I read through the book So Carson crosses Canada but it does not mention anywhere Ottawa The capital city of Canada I was surprized not in a positive way Linda Bailey I purchased this book for my grandkids Before giving it to them I gave it a read It's a great book for a young child The pictures of various parts of Canada are colorful and engaging The story line is good and has some humor thrown in with a bit of learning opportunity It's a nice size and is well put together Linda Bailey
