Great quick read. Fast paced with danger, chemistry and SEALs. Marissa meets Leif when she goes on base to see her brother Mason. There's instant chemistry but Marissa is a concert violinist who spends most of her time traveling. 5 years later she's in need of reaching and Leif's team is sent to rescue her. Great start to a series. Because of Marissa (Special Forces: Operation Alpha / Heart of a Man Book 1) This book was my first with this author and I was pleasantly surprised how much I genuinely love this book! I am very excited to find out what comes next!

I love how she introduces you to the characters and right off the bat you feel an instant connection to them.

There is no cliffhanger and that for me is something I hate! I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series and anything else this amazing author has to come! Because of Marissa (Special Forces: Operation Alpha / Heart of a Man Book 1) Leif & Marissa

Because of Marissa is the first book in the Heart of a Man series by Rachel Young. The story was interesting. The structure was very balanced. There was no feeling at the end of loose ends or a rushed epilogue. Looking forward to reading more of this series. This is my first book by Rachel Young and I really did enjoy it, Marissa and Leif had a really good connection, and I loved seeing old friends in this book. Because of Marissa (Special Forces: Operation Alpha / Heart of a Man Book 1)
