This is a quick-hit short story that is good for a Saturday afternoon – while very short, I could see this one as a foundation for a longer story. I picked this up for free during a Kindle promotion vs. its normal price of 99 cents and certainly received more than 99 cents worth of entertainment value. If you’re looking for something to read during your lunch break or a quick read and enjoy science fiction, give this one a try. Lance Erlick Good prequel
Android Chronicles : Origins by Lance Erlick is a short story about the rival between two inventors and an android that one of them made. The android was having trouble with the ethics in which the Creator was handling the conflict. Good start to series. Lance Erlick This was a fun and short read. It isn't what I usually read but I have another book resolution for 2020..go outside my comfort zone. So I did!
This is a quick short story that is evidently part of a series with a man creating a female Android that he is hoping can assist him in his illegal activities as well as love him like a human being. (Not to much to ask for right?)
However, problems arise as his android starts to feel humility and compassion as well as a variety of human emotions..which should not be happening but is. Alot happens in this short story.
I enjoyed it wholeheartedly so I can imagine if one is big into Science Fiction, which I am not, they might love it. I do not know if I liked it enough to read other books in the series. I am trying to figure that out. But I absolutely enjoyed this one and became quite fond of our android who seems smarter and kinder then many humans! She was great fun to read about and I would recommend this to fans of Science Fiction. Lance Erlick I decided to read this after reading Trial, though this story comes before Trial as part of the origin story of Synthia, the android. My favorite part of this tale is that it opens with her male creator fretting because the size of her brain interferes with his shaping her appearance. Lance Erlick Similar plot to most books I have read, though this way a bit different, for it was talking about hacking into her creator's enemy, and developing a brain for her own...

Prequel novelette 1 to Android Chronicles: Reborn Android Chronicles: Origins

Eh....
So so...not really that great of a story didn't give me the desire to read on...but that's why it's free right? Lance Erlick Interesting prequel idea
A brief introduction to a multi part story that begins to explore what a sentient android may go thru as it develops. Somewhat hampered by its builder the thought processes and conflicts are interesting and may be a preview of what could actually happen in the future. Lance Erlick Interesting novella. The story is good, but failed to grab me. Probably my fault; I'm getting very picky in my old age.
It seems to be the first of many. Definitely ends in a cliff-hanger -- something I hate and probably has something to do with my opinion.
What the heck. Give it a try. It's currently free, so you can't go wrong. Lance Erlick Too short to be a short story and also too incomplete to be a story ! A possibly good first chapter, but not enough material to make it worthwhile to buy the next 'book'. Lance Erlick A Good Short Story
Android Chronicles: Origins is a good short story to read when you're still looking for a full size novel. I have always liked stories about robots and androids and this did not disappoint. The story was good and thought provoking. The only disappointment was it was too short. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a short read. Lance Erlick
