Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) By Aya Morningstar

Alien

Such a great read! This is my first read by this author and I found myself drawn into the story by the storyline, world building, the well developed characters, and the flow of the story. It’s an exciting read filled with twists and suspense, and one I recommend. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) Good read with a intriguing storyline

The Alpha alien is a pirate. Let’s face it, he is a jerk although he tries to be good, many times he just convinced himself it’s okay to be oblivious. It’s frustrating but creates the angst in the story. The heroine is a sweetheart who just picks the wrong guy over and over again. Her last ex boyfriend was awful — didn’t care if she died awful. She struggles to allow herself to care for her alien captor. Read On! Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) This book is just as good as the first book. It can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading the first one too. This involves a new take on alien romance that I've not come across before. We have women from the 21st century being cryogenically frozen only to be revived a millennia later. Oh, and of course it's by a species that can't resist the scent of humans (and vice versa). It makes for quite a steamy read. I can't wait until the next one. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) Larkin is an alien pirate and he kidnaps Cat and plans to sell her. However nothing goes according to plan and they crash land and end up on a planet neither has been on before. they end up needing each other in order to survive. Will they make it off the planet? Will they stay together?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) Fun, exciting, suspenseful and much more read. A strong alpha male alien and a feisty female who end up together and who have a lot of twists and turns on their journey. I really enjoyed reading it. Some typos that need fixed. Otherwise great read. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2)

Alien Brute's Captive is the second book in the Alien's Frozen Mate series and the first book I've read by Aya Morningstar. Needless to say, I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The worldbuilding allowed me to picture things vividly in my mind while the writing style and characters were done in such a way it allowed them to be relatable. There was plenty of action and adventure, a few twists and turns, and definitely chemistry. I would be glad to recommend this book.
Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) Enjoyable and entertaining read and a great addition to the series. This was a emotional journey for Kraken a strong alpha male trying to prove something. When he end up with a feisty female Catherine who turn his world upside down. Their plenty of twists and turns on their journey but also adventure fill with intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. Overall a great read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) Aya is a new author for me. This is the first book I have read by her and I was pleasantly surprised with how well this story turned out, with all the world building and character building it flowed pretty smoothly. I really liked the visual with the wording and the way this author set up the story. I have gone back to her profile and have invested in the first story because she has written a few in this universe and I was intrigued by her style of writing. You can tell that Aya has thought about this world and what she wanted to reflect to the reader, she is one that I will look out for in the future. This story was a pretty quick read for me and all in all a wonderful story. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) I read the teaser at the end of first book and there his name was Thesius(like spear couch in this book) ,so when I started reading this book straight away and skipped the pages I had already read, the name Krakon felt so unfitting and wrong, and confusing. Unfortunately, it stayed that way for me through this whole book. If I am not mistaken, somewhere author forgot herself the name change and used Thesius instead of Krakon . For me, I think Thesius would have been a better fit, but oh, well.

Apart from that, I loved the story, I loved how they didn't both give in at first and I loved the conflict between them.

P.s. description of heroine actually drooling during sex was a huge wtf moment for me 😂. Not sexy. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2) This book has a great story, it just drags on some places

So there's an excellent story in here, but i'm not going to lie, I stopped reading this a few times. There are a lot of dramatic and action filled chunks to enjoy, but then there are wordy, overly descriptive parts that really slow the reading pace. There are introspective inner monologues that seemed to go on for pages, then there's an exciting scene that pulls you back in. It's a cycle that repeated a few times. The core story is excellent though, and the characters grow on you. There are some wonderfully violent right scenes too. Overall, it's definitely worth reading, just be prepared for those wordy stretches. Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2)

Krakon, a disgraced alien noble, has joined the swarm. They’re a lawless band of brutes, but they do have one rule: No human mates.

Not a problem. Krakon has always hated humans, and the last thing he ever wanted is to mate with one. But when a human colony ship enters the system, it’s too juicy a target. He attacks it and steals one of the frozen humans.

Not to mate with her. Just to sell her. Humans are worth a fortune, and he can keep her frozen in cryostasis without ever having to so much as look at her.

That was the plan, at least.

Catherine is bitten by a snake, then wakes up centuries in the future. A brutal alien throws her over his shoulder and abducts her. He commands her to keep her mouth shut and to not touch anything, especially him.

They crash-land on a frozen planet full of savages even more brutish than Krakon. He kills them to protect her, and when she’s wounded and freezing, he keeps her body warm with his. He says it’s just because she’s not worth any money dead.

His smell betrays him. She can smell his desire through the alien scent, and she knows he wants to take her for himself. Once they get off the planet, will he give in to his hatred and sell her? Or will he betray the swarm and give up everything to make her his mate?

Alien Brute's Captive is a full-length, standalone alien sci-fi romance. It features a possessive, alpha alien with his human mate. There are no cliffhangers or cheating, and a happily ever after is guaranteed! Alien Brute's Captive (Alien's Frozen Mate #2)
