I suppose the book can be read from front to back; however, I find it most helpful for quick reference needs. If you use Adobe's Creative Cloud, you have access to a variety of video tutorials. The book allows me to quickly address my questions/reference needs. When I opt to view Adobe's tutorials, the book serves as a nice complement.The color illustrations and tips are also helpful.
