it is amazing book 171 It was a good book on the popular history but it lacked continuity.. and some events were repeated twice or thrice which gives a feeling that differnt chapters were not edited together. But gradually the reader gets used to of the writing style of the author. 171 its a good book and who can talk against book, which shed light upon a sect or profession called the thugs. This is more like their story not a research work where one can get all the minute details that what was the origin etc of thugs. the writer himself has accepted that he has reference only couple of books in this regards.
He has also added one abridged version of english novel called the Thugs certainly the abridged version is in Urdu. Although its a abridged version but still i would say it is a captivating story of a thug named Amir Ali. This novel do consist of real life happening of thug with the same name. 171
